A large explosion in Melitopol near the industrial and economic college. People say it was Elena Shapurova’s car, a collaborator. Prior to the war she ran various schemes at the college. When the Russians took over, she was named head of the “department of education.”
For example, she got rid of Ukrainian teachers and imported teachers from Russia in an effort to turn Ukrainian children into Russians. This is genocide. Many people think genocide only refers to killing people, but it also applies to behavior like this.
I am pretty sure she survived, not sure she was injured.

Today russia fired MLRS into a convoy of Ukrainian civilians who were driving from the liberated areas of Zaporizhzhia to the occupied areas to pick up family members. At least 23 people died.
Here is my update for September 25th through September 27th. #ukrdailyupdate
If you want to view the map, you can go to map.ukrdailyupdate.com. This link will always direct you to the most current version of the map.
Around Kupyansk, Ukraine is expanding its bridgeheads. The fog of war hides the full extent of their movements, and they may have moved significantly further than I show on the map. My map is very conservative.
There is a lot of information today that I am still trying to clarify and confirm so I am not going to post a true daily update, but I did update the map today so I will show what changed.
I am limited to 10 layers, which sucks and I try to make due. The current layers are:
1: Ukrainian Controlled areas
2: Russian Controlled areas
3: Contested Areas
4: Notable Events (dating back a long time)
5: Movement Arrows
6-10: the past 5 days of data
The current day will have artillery markers, missile/air strikes, and other such events. The movement arrows will represent the most current day, the previous days arrows will be merged with their arty markers etc. You to can have a less cluttered view of the current day.
