I have started another playthrough of #Skyrim to celebrate the ten year anniversary of me leaving private practice, being mostly unemployed and searching for a good hobby for a clinically depressed person. “You should get an Xbox 360,” my friend Aaron said to me. And here we are.

He told me to buy Skyrim and Halo to see what kind of games I like. So I loved Skyrim and couldn’t shoot for shit at the time so Halo was out.

Then in 2016, Overwatch came out and some of the @blackgirlgamers at the time were nice enough to let me play with them. So I became their Mercy. Then slowly I started learning to shoot. And now I am a damn good sniper.

I was 38 when I started playing again (I played a lot of Zelda and Mario Kart and Goldeneye and such before).

Now I love it. It’s not just for kids. It’s not just for boys.
