States are literally getting away with blue murder and we are blaming the FG for all the woes .
An example is the flood across the country , Lagos has built more canals to manage flood control , closely followed by Oyo State . The remaining states are just either clueless , lazy , stupid or all the above .
Just really happy that the rice and maize cooperatives took out crop insurance with a sizeble premium covering animal encroachment.

People talking about egg prices , you all have absolutely no idea .
When Fertilizer went from N10,000 to N32,000 , tractor services from N16,000 to N45,000 per hectare , seeds , pesticides, herbicides , what exactly are you expecting , or is having to control that pesky Army 🐛.
Or should we talk about weather shocks ? Any idea how much it is to irrigate an hectare of land , how much more thousands of hectares .

What @tayooye said here is false , except he claims he is ignorant about it , I also expected someone like @FinPlanKaluAja1 to have corrected him rather than go with the falsehood . Anyway this is what propaganda does . It robs people of critical thinking .
The National Assembly budget isn't limited to Senators and Representative's alone but includes all the civil servants who work at the assembly complex who's tasks are different , but it is easier to whip up emotions than be factual . The same rhetoric applies to the health budget
Deliberately ignore state expenditure on health , same is said of education , it is why one would be made to believe such drivel . Let's even start with primary health care centers , are they under the Federal Government purview ?

Seeing the fuel subsidy , education and health care debate on the TL , the social contract means there must be something government gives back to the people , Nigerians aren't the ones enjoying the fuel subsidy . Ideally all subsidy on fuel should go to education and health .
The problems has always been on the government side , ASUU forget that they have serious accountability issues , it is why sex for grades is rife and they don't see it as wrong , it is why a lecturer brags and says " you can't make an A in my course " . No consequences .
You see the CMD of health facilities living large and has the Lord and Master , they'd rather buy new vehicles and asphalt roads than have functional medical equipment , supplies and an enabling health environment .

Governance isn't Copy and Paste .

Even if we adopted the Vietnamese approach, you'd still have to tailor parts for best fit regarding our problems ,solutions ,targets and aspirations .
Vietnam adopted an ACP (agriculture competitiveness project ) policy ,that had seen it earning over $40 Billion from export of agricultural produce .Challenges such as land ownership and limitations were removed to encourage private large scale investments production ,processing
The Netherlands mantra is " Twice as much food using half as many resources " , embedded into it includes sustainability. This is exactly why they are the leaders in hydroponics and aerophonics , they are the reason why you can feed 1,300,000 cows on 6,800 acres of land .

I tried explaining this to someone and I got insults and snide remarks , even those you'd thought were better exposed and educated joined in . The world's logistics and supply chain is powered by DIESEL .
The energy that powers bulk goods movement and distribution is powered by diesel , once you're moving anything above 10 tons , it's a diesel engine under the hood
. A truck from Lagos to Kano would be using 1,000 litres of diesel , before you'd be paying N300,000 today N785,000.
Now add that cost to how mechanization firms for agriculture and farming businesses who use diesel as their main source of energy to power tractors , harvesters , sprayers , don't forget inputs like seeds , fertiliser, herbicides, pesticides are also moved using trucks .

Nigeria has made many stupid decisions in its past , imagine the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is producing 700,000 MT of wheat and Nigeria produces 37,000 MT , it also has a population of 35m whilst Nigeria is 200m .
We have a local deficit of 400,000 MT of CPO (crude palm oil ) or more , that's why you're seeing price rise in your vegetable and palm oil prices , 50 years ago Nigeria accounted for 48% of world supply , today we aren't even in the top 20 .
All textile industries are closed, same goes for rubber , was once a top producer of cocoa ,but where are we now , some things don't need rocket science to explain .
