Former Trump official Adam Hageman pleaded guilty yesterday to possession of child pornography. Hageman was part of a “secret online group” that shared graphic fantasies and child-molestation videos. But tell me more about Democrats being groomers and pedophiles please.
.@Charliekirk11: “If they want us to stop calling them groomers and pedophiles, maybe they should try not being groomers and pedophiles.”

Maybe take your own advice, Charlie.
Wait. I think I might be detecting a pattern here.
If you don’t have time to read all of that, watch this:
#GOPPedoRing
Oh look! Here’s @charliekirk11 with Adam Hageman at a Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in 2017.
Keep making me more and more proud of this, Charlie.
He did this in response to me telling him to just ask @AOC out already since he’s clearly in love with her.
To every MAGA troll screaming “You don’t condemn the Democrats who commit sex crimes!” Um…yes, we do. We also force them to resign. Whereas you continue to support and reelect them to state legislatures, Congress, and the White House.

BREAKING: @RepJimmyGomez has introduced and @BillPascrell has cosponsored a resolution to hold a vote to #ExpelMarjorieTaylorGreene from the House of Representatives. This needs to happen as soon as possible. Image
Quick overview of House terms:

Resolutions = legislation introduced in either the House of Representatives or the Senate, but unlike bills they may be limited in effect to the Congress or one of its chambers.

There are 3 types of resolutions:
1. Simple
2. Joint
3. Concurrent
Simple Resolution = Legislation relating to the operations of a single chamber or expresses the collective opinion of that chamber on policy/member issues. A simple resolution originating in the House of Representatives is designated by the letters “H. Res.” followed by a number.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: “I am not going to mince words with you all. Democrats want Republicans dead and they have already started the killings.”

It’s time to pull the plug on these rallies by indicting Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene is a terrorist who needs to be prosecuted.
If this doesn’t warrant censure and a vote on expulsion, what exactly does? It doesn’t even matter that we don’t have the votes to expel her. We didn’t just not bother to impeach Trump because we didn’t have the votes to remove him from office. We impeached his ass twice anyways.
Just imagine the GOP reaction if @AOC or @IlhanMN had said this. That’s the level of outrage that is actually warranted here. Enough is enough. These rallies are going to get people killed.

.@RepRaskin penned an op-ed for The NY Times last week that’s a blazing rebuke of congressional Republicans’ distortion of the 2nd Amendment to try to rationalize the January 6th insurrection they helped plan/incite.

“The Second Amendment Gives No Comfort to Insurrectionists:”
“Many Republicans in Congress agree with Representative Matt Gaetz that the Second Amendment “is about maintaining within the citizenry the ability to maintain an armed rebellion against the government, if that becomes necessary…”
“This purported ‘right’ to overthrow the government means that the people must enjoy access to weapons that are wholly unnecessary for hunting or self-defense, such as military-style assault weapons…”

The most crushing blow was how even though we managed to gain control of the senate and remove Mitch as majority leader (thank you Georgia!), a 50/50 senate meant that even 1 Dem senator could sabotage almost any bill. And the GOP purchased two of ours (Manchin and Sinema).
While we can’t primary Sinema yet and Manchin is likely the best we’re going to get from West Virginia for a long time, what we can do is expand our senate majority by at least two senators in November which would FINALLY give us a FUNCTIONAL MAJORITY.
538 (which aggregates all credible polling sources) currently has Democratic odds of keeping or expanding our senate majority at 87 out of 100. Of course we should continue to act as if this number is much lower and work EVERY DAY between now and November 8th to MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Reminder: The last time Donald Trump spoke to Mitch McConnell on the phone, McConnell flat out refused to humor any of his lies about “election fraud,” and ultimately got so fed up with listening to him rant he simply said “You lost the election,” and hung up on him.
Image
And do not mistake this for a millisecond as me praising McConnell or even trying to portray him favorably. To McConnell, Trump was always just a useful tool to pack the Judiciary and SCOTUS with extremists. After he lost, he was of no use to McConnell anymore. It’s that simple.

For Democrats struggling to counter Republicans’ pitiful and false “Dems are soft on crime” campaign (which is what they dredge up like clockwork every time they are desperate for votes and know they’re going to lose, like right now), I have some thoughts. (Thread)
First, this isn’t a new strategy for them. Crime has been the GOP “break glass” tactic since H.W. Bush salvaged his 1988 campaign with the notorious “Willie Horton” ad, which was so racist that every subsequent racist GOP ad has been properly categorized as a throwback to it.
These ads aren’t really about crime. Republicans use crime as a substitute for race. To scare their white racist base and make conservative-leaning, white voters apprehensive about having Democrats in power. That’s why 99% of the “criminals” featured in them are people of color.
