Watched #PS1 yday. I felt the story was well executed as a movie, only minus that many introduction setup was brushed aside to make screenplay tighter. The movie was engaging to me and felt like someone narrating the story to me. @Karthi_Offl was splendid as Vanthiyathevan (1/n)
Only Karthi could have done that role and he did it with great ease. Next all characters were well selected and it was proven with the movie yday. @chiyaan as Adita Karikaalan, the confused king, was as brilliant like he always is! @trishtrashers and #AishwaryaRaiBachchan were 💥
The next character after Vanthiyathevan, I got impressed very much was of Aazhwarkadiyan by #Jayaram sir splendid work sir only you could have done it cc @kalidas700
@arrahman songs and BGM fantastically blended with movie esp Ponni Nadhi. Songs trimmed to make way for story (3)
was a good ploy to apply. BGM during the Two full moons segment and during the Kundhavai and Vanthiyathevan romance was 🥰!
Thottadharani art work sollave venaam💥 and cinematography by Ravi varman perfect almost felt like I was in that era.
Visuals during Ponni nadhi🤩 (4)
Overall I loved the making. Perfectly treated like a political drama story. More would be the dialogues and emotions rather than actions. Humour was well placed, the "indha velailaam kooda paarpaya nee" to Vanthiyathevan by Nambi was 😂 (5)
Forgot to mention @actor_jayamravi as Arunmozhi Varman.Perfect fit. And also Aishwarya Lakshmi as Poonguzhali and Parthiban as Younger Pazhuvettaraiyyar suited perfect("gavanithu kolgiren" dialogue😂👍🏽)
Didn't feel bored.

Just if anyone wants to understands Box office terminology in general (corrections are welcomed)
Gross: The money collected through tickets sales. If one ticket price is 100rs, then if 10 tickets are sold, gross is said to be 1000rs.
(1/n)
Nett: The money that remains after tax deducted from the gross. So by above example, 1000rs is gross. If tax is 10% then 10% of 1000rs= 100
Minus that you will get Nett
Nett = 1000-100 = 900rs

This I find somewhat complicated. I'll try to explain that I know.

This is the percentage split between the owners of the movie via production or rights held. Mostly this has 3 splits in general: 1. Producer share 2. Distribution share 3. Theatre owner share
