systematic consideration of other reasons a child may reject a parent (see Milchman, Mercer and Drew, Barnett, Meier etc). The studies are 'methodologically weak', non random and not generalizable, unlike the ONLY study on FC outcomes by Meier, which found PA is highly gendered,
benefitting only fathers and '(virtually doubling) courts’ rejection of mothers’ abuse claims, and mothers’ losses of custody to the father accused of abuse'. The PA advocates rely on studies that overly use retrospective accounts and use scales that 'lack credible basis', see
authors such as @profjoanmeier @danielle2u @BarnettAdrienne @julie_doughty @SueurGwenola @Pierre_Pgt @KellyMChampion1, many more and our pinned tweet for more authors. ALL studies purporting 'positive impacts of PA 'reunification therapies' are produced by PA advocates who either
directly or indirectly benefit financially from such studies - e.g. they or their friends provide such 'treatments' - huge conflict of interest labelled a 'catastrophic cottage industry'. The lack of transparency and regulation in FC is the perfect breeding ground for this
parasitic industry. We and numerous other organisations including the police, United Nations, Council of Europe, @womensaid @nfvlcgwu @NSPCC - see @MOPACLdn, @UNSRVAW @NataliePage31 #THECOURTSAID have heard thousands upon thousands of stories of women and children being
told they are making false allegations of abuse, either losing the majority of or all custody to perpetrator fathers on the back of this 'pseudoscience' to quote the United Nations. Children are reportedly being transferred to abuser's custody in over 50K cases in the USA, we
currently do not know the figures for the UK or others countries. We do not know how many children are being raped, right now or even murdered, because FC has become infested with a cottage industry based on the multiplication and replication of poorly conducted research with
high financial incentives. Multiple people stand to gain £10,000s in PA therapies. This is why we see rebranding repeatedly from PAS -rejected, to PA - rejected to PARP - soon to be rejected. They will not stop because lives are cheap and money comes quickly.
Anything can be branded as PA - talk to a child too much about time with an abusive father -that's alienation, don't talk about the abuser, that's alienation, give the child medicine that's PA and fabricated induced illness, don't give the child medicine that's alienation,
breast feed = alienation, there is not a single behaviour that cannot be interpreted as PA. So the next time you see a PA 'researcher' advocating that there is a wealth of 'robust data' supporting PA as 'credible' - check the method, follow their connections and see
who stands to gain from their research. Please know this, NO children anywhere have been evidenced to have benefited from this pseudoscience. Thousands have been evidenced as traumatised and worse for life. This is about the best interests of the children, not those making money
