I don’t know why #FakeChristian is trending. But I do know that the Bible clearly says that many people who seem to believe that they are Christians and who claim to act in His Name are going to be told by the Lord Jesus to depart and that He doesn’t know them.
Matthew 7:21-23.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name
, and done many miracles in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’”
A couple of observations:
1) These people, whoever they are, absolutely believe that they’re Christians. It seems like they can’t talk about it enough.
2) But Jesus says these particular people act wickedly. And disregard His commands.
3) They’re completely shocked.
4) What’s the number of people we’re talking about here? The Bible just says “Many.”

There are a lot of politicians as well as some folks in ministry positions who publicly tout their supposed piousness, quote Scriptures they don’t truly believe and try to manipulate people using faith that they don’t actually share.
And there is one verse they should learn.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.”
(Galatians 6:7, Amplified)
God doesn’t like sit around and zap us when we do the wrong things. But that doesn’t mean He’s playing games.
There is a subset of right-wing paid influencers who have two goals every day they wake up:
1) Find something new to be mad about. And if it involves diversity in some way, even better!
2) Somehow, some way, if they’re lucky, get accused of racism. For them, that’s street cred.
Most people in our society do not like the idea of being accused of racism.
But these folks kinda DO want to be accused of racism. It’s good for business.
If they’re careful and don’t cross the line, they can get ratings from the most hateful and frustrate those who see what they’re doing, a cat and mouse game that is even more fun for them.
How many ways can they say the “n” word without actually saying it?
How much has the Republican Party in Congress changed since Trump was inaugurated in 2017?
Let's put it into numbers.
There were 240 House Republicans in Congress when Trump was inaugurated. Only 124 of them (51.67%) are still in the House today.
3 of the 240 House Republicans in office on Inauguration Day, 2017 got elected Senators. So, when you put it all together, only 127 of the 240 House Republicans who were there before Trump are still in Congress today. That's 52.92%.
Compare that to the House Democrats, who had 194 Members in office before Trump was inaugurated. 151 of those House Democrats are still in the House today, which means that 77.84% of them are still there.
So far, I have analyzed 306 of the 435 new Congressional Districts looking specifically at the approximate educational attainment of the voting-age citizen population.
There is a dividing line at about the 30% mark.
In districts in which less than 30% of the voting age citizen population have four year degrees or higher, Republicans have a slight advantage, with 56% of these districts I've looked at so far having Republican incumbents.
In districts in which more than 30% of the voting age citizen population has four year degrees or higher, Democrats have a major advantage, with 77% of those districts having Democratic incumbents.
I have a hunch that this could play some role in the midterms.
Something we all need to keep in mind as we talk about news events and issues …
There are times when human beings are forced, for a wide variety of reasons, to relocate in order to survive.
Sometime the thing that forces people to relocate is a natural disaster and the massive destruction it leaves behind.
Sometimes it’s the nation we’ve always lived in being torn apart by war.
Sometimes it’s criminal gangs making life impossible for innocent civilians.
And sometimes it’s economic survival. No industry. No jobs. No way to feed your family. And instead of being killed quickly by a natural disaster, war or by gangs, they face a slower but still highly probable death by starvation.
