I am deeply disappointed by today’s #DACA ruling and the ongoing uncertainty it creates for families and communities across the country.
We are currently reviewing the court’s decision and will work with @TheJusticeDept on an appropriate legal response.
(1/)
As a result of the stay that remains in place, no one who currently has #DACA will lose their protection from removal or work authorization. (2/)
Consistent with that stay, @DHSgov will continue to accept the filing of both initial and renewal #DACA applications but will process only the DACA renewal requests. (3/)
Last month, @DHSgov issued a final rule to preserve and fortify #DACA, recognizing that it has transformed the lives of so many Dreamers who have enriched our nation through their contributions. (4/)
It is clear though that only the passage of legislation will give full protection & a well-deserved path to citizenship for #DACA recipients. I urge Congress to swiftly pass legislation to provide permanent protection to the hundreds of thousands of Dreamers who call the US home.

Today @DHSGov took its latest step in demonstrating that the U.S. will continue to protect human rights and international labor standards by joining @StateDept, @USTreasury, @CommerceGov, @USTradeRep, and @USDOL in issuing an updated Xinjiang Supply Chain Business Advisory.
The Advisory warns of the risks of doing business in China’s Xinjiang region, where the Chinese government is committing human rights abuses against the Uyghur people and other minorities.
.@DHSgov & @CBP are advancing this administration’s whole-of-government effort to eradicate forced labor from U.S. supply chains by preventing cotton products, tomato products, and certain other goods made in Xinjiang from entering the U.S.
With today’s release of the first-ever National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism, @POTUS is demonstrating his steadfast commitment to addressing the most significant and persistent terrorism-related threat to the homeland today.
In furtherance of the National Strategy, @DHSgov will remain focused on addressing violence, while at the same time protecting privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties. DHS is undertaking a number of actions as part of an all-of-government effort to fight domestic terrorism.
