Coronaviruses are dependent on calcium and their proteins act as calcium ion channels. Vitamin D pumps calcium back out of cells. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…

More specifically, it activates Ca2+ ATPase. This is why excessive Vitamin D supplementation gives someone hypercalcemia. The calcium leaves the cells and enters the extracellular space.

Some claim that this refers to a different coronavirus vax candidate, not mRNA-1273. That's beside the point. The point is, the document shows that NIAID and Moderna co-own a coronavirus vaccine, and they had Ralph Baric validate it, December 12th, 2019.
