As the #XEN claim phase is mere hours away I wanted to condense what I believe to be the all key information you need to develop your claim/mint/staking strategy into one location. Feel free to share!
*Mint Term: this is how long you choose to wait before claiming your XEN during the mint phase(longer mints more). Initially the max limit will be 100 days, but after 5k users it will begin to increase. Graphical representation linked here: xensource.gitbook.io/www.xenpedia.i…
👇
New users: # of participants after you
*AMP: Amplification variable is very important. It starts at 3000 & decreases by 1 everyday until it reaches 1 a little after 8yrs where it'll remain. Look how drastic the minting of XEN declines by decreasing AMP by 1,000(roughly 3yrs).👇
*EAA: early adoption amplifier starts at a 10% and decreases by .1% per 100k users until 10 million and it will become 0%.
Now there are penalties if you're late claiming your XEN and they are as follows: day0=0% day1=1% day2=3% day3=8% day4=17% day5=35% day6=72% day7=100%.
👇
Moral of the story don't be late claiming. Organize the timing of your wallets carefully! Proof of participation.
Lastly let's cover XEN staking: max length is 1,000 days. APY starts at 20% and decreases by 1% every 90 days until it reaches its floor of 2% where it'll remain.👇
You lock in your APY at the time of the stake. It's advantageous to lock in a higher APY early and longer just like HEX. For example that's an additional 56-57% bonus if you lock in 19% APY for 1,000 days.
👇
Unlike the claim phase there is no penalty for being late to end your stake, but if you end anytime earlier you will always recieve your entire principal while losing all your APY rewards.
Hopefully this condensed all the valuable information for XEN in one place for you guys.👇
It's up to you to participate or not participate and develop your own strategy. Good luck everyone!
