How to Find Keywords with Keysearch:
Rankability will depend on your DA, niche, internal links and backlinks.
I go into these methods more fully in my SEO Roadmap for Travel Bloggers course here: shop.sheknowsseo.co/seo-roadmap/
My methods are....🧵
1)) "Keyword Research" tab on the top bar.
Search any keyword and get results for difficulty and monthly word count.
(Limiting as you have to know the easy keywords to target)
Filter by difficulty and word length to find long-tail keywords
I ignore the difficulty score usually, as it takes into account DA and backlinks, but not topical authority. It also combines backlinks with internal links.
So I assess this myself when manually searching
2) Competitor Analysis -> Organic Keywords on the top bar.
Here you can mine your competitors for keywords.
Pro tip: don't mine DAs you can't compete with!
And only go for keywords that they rank in the top 10 for
3) Competitor Gap Tool in the top bar
If you have a competitor and you've already written on some similar topics, this will filter out anything you both rank for.
4) Explorer on the top bar.
Enter your own site. See top competitors.
Here you can find some competitors to mine using steps 2 and 3.
5) Zero to Hero keyword method
(aka my go-to!)
Use step 2, but mine a forum for keywords. You will need to filter this by specific keywords to ensure you get relevant results.
Google doesn't want to rank forums since they have no authority for the answers
We can outrank forums very easily.
These often have low reported volume, but that's another story. Target all of them, regardless of volume
I recommend filtering by 1-3 position
6) Secondary keyword methods:
Use the competitor organic keyword area on specific posts to find secondary keywords to rank for.
Use the Keyword Research area to find suggested related keywords to rank for.
I love @Keysearchco
It's really all you need at first, even though yes Ahrefs is a bit more robust. I got into Mediavine with Keysearch only and hit $10k a month with it.

My SEO spreadsheets help keep me on track, gameify some of the boring parts of blogging, and help me batch my strategies so I can get more done faster.
An easy way to add the year into all of your blog post titles (and not have to manually change it next year) is in your seo plugin - rankmath or yoast.
Here's how 👇
Go to your settings for the plug-in.
In rankmath you'll find it in "titles and meta" then click "posts"
Here you can set the title to show on Google search for all posts
Here you can add beside your site title the prompt for the current year to show beside all titles.
You'll want to delete any manually added dates though!
