🇷🇺 Kremlin Spokesman Peskov told Russian Government news that

“Putin's schedule on Monday does not include meetings with members of the Security Council, nor Shoigu.”

Weird that Putin called and then cancelled this meeting.
Putin’s Monday national security council meeting was cancelled. Which means Putin doesn’t know what to do or the plan of “pay back” for Crimea Bridge isn’t ready yet.

Putin calling for a (rare) speech, then postponing it, is really odd.

The exciting possibility would be tensions inside of the Kremlin.

The more probable reason is that aspects of what was to be announced (e.g. dates, quantities, etc.) had not yet been defined.

However, I see that Putin is having troubles balancing those who are hyper-hawkish, hardliners, who want extremism (full mobilization, nukes, etc.).

Versus those who are seeking a less rigid solution to salvage Russia.

Recent Russian history isn't good for hardliners.
In all cases, it would seem that Putin's house of cards is going to fall. His Regime is broken.

Ultimately, not ideology, rather naked self-interest (financial, ego, career, etc.) will be what breaks the foundation on which Putin is built.

We MUST drive what comes after Putin.

From an acquaintance:

“Friend in Moscow went to a dacha in the countryside for a few days with friends.

He just texted me that the Ring Road around Moscow is closed by the National Guard. Hasn't seen anything like this since the 1991 coup.
If closed, it’s not all closed.

The road from the Kremlin to Novo-Ogaryovo (where Putin lives) is the one in the Southwest (where it says Odintsovo). Appears to be open. Image
In the history of (attempted) coups in Russia:

1957: Khrushchev was on vacation.

1964: Khrushchev was on vacation.

1991: Gorbachev was on vacation.

2022: Putin is in Sochi. Now would be a good time to remove him.

Chechen leader/psychopath Ramzan Kadyrov is OUT!

Kadyrov today announced that his “time had come” and that he would take a “indefinite and long" break.

Putin, who installed Kadyrov to subdue Chechnya, would’ve been the one to make this decision.

THREAD: 1/2
Kadyrov’s troops in Ukraine 🇺🇦 are known for committing mass rape, torture, and filming Tik Tok videos of doing little to actually help Russia 🇷🇺.

Kadyrov, see the quotes attached, is pathologically depraved. I hope Putin finds a window for him.

Here’s his full retirement speech (in Russian). He does say “it’s getter to quit before getting thrown out,” which likely means he was told to get lost.

He’ll probably stay in his tacky palace… until he “takes his own life,” “suffers a horrible accident,” or other “tragedy.”

Putin’s 🇷🇺 motorcade rushed to the Kremlin late tonight (Moscow time). Odd for him to show up so late. Usually it means something serious is cooking.
Rushing him there is likely something unexpected that can’t wait for his decision. Last time was June 25/26.

If it’s military: More likely defensive (not offensive).

Though we may never learn why he went there, be sure the 70 year old isn’t joy riding past his bedtime.
And, this is going down tomorrow, so it could be in relation to these plans not working out as they’d hoped:

My friend, Ilya Ponomarev 🇷🇺 @iponomarev , announced that an armed anti-Putin org, the National Republican Army (NRA), was responsible for yesterday’s assassination of D Dugin.

NRA seeks to overthrow Putin’s kleptocracy. Ponomarev (courageously) announced his backing of the NRA
The manifest in English. Sorry for quick translation.
