(2:6) Nobody owns them.
Rolex, IKEA, Mozilla Firefox, TED & Wikipedia.

WHY??

Because they are owned by different non-profit organizations.

(3:6) Owning NPOs of the above-mentioned companies:-

Rolex- Hans Wilsdorf Foundation

IKEA- Stichting Ingka Foundation

Mozilla Firefox- Mozilla Foundation

TED- TED Foundation

Wikipedia- Wikimedia Foundation.

(4:6) Non-profit organizations do not have private owners & they do not issue stock or pay dividends, unlike for-profit businesses. So, technically, nobody owns an NPO.

Is nonprofit and charity the same?

There are many kinds of nonprofits and charities are one of them.

(5:6) Charities must be established & operated exclusively for charitable purposes whereas broadly, an NPO can operate for social welfare, pleasure, sport, recreation or any other purpose except profit.
It may or may not operate exclusively for charitable purposes.

(6:6) Giants like IKEA have been questioned whether they deserve the non-profit status or not because being a non-profit, they don't play by the same tax rules applicable to other ventures.

For printing currency notes, the ink is mainly imported from Swiss company SICPA and the paper comes from two mills: Hoshangabad, MP and Mysore, Karnataka.

Then comes the printing presses and mints.

Notes are printed at units in Nashik, Dewas, Mysore

While coins are minted in the mints located in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Noida.

Banks, probably one of the very few institutions which plays a huge role in the country’s economy and growth. Banks are financial institutions which makes sure there’s enough cash flow in the country and people trust them enough to hold their money.

The banking sector for any country holds a great importance, they allow businesses to grow, create housing, assist in higher education, financial aids for women, securing retirements, wealth growth through investments and many more.

India as of now has a vast banking scene across the country spanning with public, private, rural and foreign banks, the whole banking sector is valued at somewhere around 2.5 Trillion USD, that's seriously huge but also necessary for a country as huge as India.

(1/4) Can you pursue two degrees at a time? #AskLLA #LLA #JagrukJanta

(2/4) YES.
In a recent guideline announced by the University Grants Commission (#UGC)has allowed to pursue two full time #academic programmes at the same time.
This guideline is a part of the National Education Policy & will be applicable from current academic year 2022-2023.

(3/4) A few pointers of guidelines are -
A. Students can pursue 2 degrees in physical-physical mode, physical-online mode or online-online mode.
Eg- B.A. & BCom can be done together.
B. Courses can be from the same #university or from different universities.

(2/4) Due to this WFH culture, we often have to face work calls after office hours, Can you legally ignore them?

MP Supriya Sure in 2019 introduced the bill of Right to Disconnect which says -

1. Employees have the right to not answer work calls beyond work hours.

(3/4) 2. One can’t face disciplinary action for this.

3. Can negotiate out of work hours with employees.
4. Are entitled to overtime for beyond work hours.

5.Entitled to a min.penalty of 1% of employee’s total remuneration.

Though the bill hasn’t been yet adopted.
