Did Europeans bring caste and slavery to India?

Savarna "computer warriors" claim so. As usual, they make the claim without any support. Burden of proof is on others.

Here we look at the copper plate inscriptions from Chera (800s-1300s AD) & Post-Chera periods of Kerala.

European had better documentation practices. And they documented what they observed. They had their way of looking the things.

We can analyze and argue against with evidence.
But that does not mean we say Europeans brought caste and slavery.

In Hortus Malaricus Portuguese documented the plants of Malabar. Does that mean they brought the plants to Malabar? Never.

Indian had not produced such a comprehensive document on the plants of their own country.

India's Savarna historians find no evidence of slavery in India. Thankfully, the Europeans, while participating in it, documented it in detail.

An: [I] came 7-8 months ago. Mathu Tharakan was the owner.
Aq: How was you brought?
An: When I was sleeping in my hut, a Pulaya man kidnapped me and sold to a white man from Kochi. When the white man brought me to Kochi, [the place] had 10-12 others (slaves).

Ignorant Mallus romanticize Matrilineal Nair families and claim it as Women in Nair families were empowered. And some ignorant outsiders pick-up and broadcasts it further.
The claim is an absolute bullshit.

What was Nair family system?
The patriarch lived with his sisters and her kids. Once the kids grow, the nieces’ kids join the family. All the while his own kids grow under the guidance of another man in another house hold(s), where he may visit as long as he is permitted.
Men from other families would seek relationship with the ladies. The patriarch agrees or disagrees. If he agreed, the man comes home with a Pudava that night and the relationship started until the patriarch disagrees or the man loses interest in the lady and leaves.
