Attention #Ottawa, did you know that today, OCDSB trustee candidate Shannon Boschy will be speaking at a rally in support of "the worst school trustee in British Columbia" organized by a far right group that was recently laughed out of court?

2/ Just a warning up front, Shannon Boschy is the most vile, reprehensible human being running for school board in Ottawa so far. Not only are his views abhorrent, but he is also by all accounts a pretty terrible person, which we will have to get into.

3/ Today, OCDSB Zone 6 candidate Shannon Boschy will be speaking at the Supeme Court at a rally for embattled Chilliwack school trustree Barry Neufeld organized by Action4Canada. Other speakers include PPC leader Maxime Bernier, Campaign Life Coalition spokesperson

4/ Jack Fonesca, and Andrew DeBartolo from far-right anti-vaccine group Liberty Coalition Canada.

5/ Action4Canada, the group that organized this rally, was recently in the news because they raised a bunch of funds to sue the government and recently had their lawsuit dismissed as "bad beyond argument." But they're so much more than just idiot grifters.

Also, Shannon Boschy talking about "Protecting... relationships with their children" is fucking ironic, as I'll get to later.

11/ And he got really upset when he found out that Ottawa may elect the first openly trans big-city mayor in Canada and made up some absurd nonsense about Catherine McKenney.

12/ Shannon, if your understanding of the education system comes from the Dirty Jobs guy, you have no business running for a school board.

13/ Here he is freaking out because a school board referred to Thanksgiving as the Long Weekend and unprompted started ranting about "climate religion and doomsaying" so... he's probably a climate change denier on top of all this.

14/ And some light residential school denial as well, because it's never just one thing with these people. He also compares residential schools to "what is happening in our schools right now" by which he clearly means gender-affirming policies.

15/ Once again, Shannon manages to be both racist and transphobic at the same time with his "teachers supporting LGBT students is just like residential schools" line.

He’s also so full of himself that anything he writes ends up being more painful to read than a Jordan Peterson column in the National Post.

19/ Shannon's current projects include APISC Digital Research Foundation, which is a project to use artificial intelligence to get to the bottom of what he calls "the Social Contagion of Transgenderism"

20/ You see, Shannon thinks that there is a "gender bubble" which is... the subprime mortgage crisis except for gender identity? Again, it’s hard to fully comprehend because anything Shannon says or writes is a slog to get through because he's so insufferable.

21/ In short, he wants to use A.I. to prove his theory that trans people are all just a big fad.

Also, Shannon is so afraid of “transgender advocates” that he says he can’t name his company name publicly, but then he put it on the front page of his campaign website. Smart move.

22/ Of course, he's also asking for money for this grift.

23/ So, why is Shannon really running? In his announcement on twitter, Shannon had 280 characters to introduce himself, announce his run, and explain why he should be the next trustee for Zone 6. He used like 70 of them to say "my opponent is trans."

24/ The folks at Press Progress followed up with Shannon where he admitted that he does not live in Zone 6 and is motivated by personal animosity towards Lyra Evans and then... mentioned some deranged nonsense about communism?

28/ In case you haven't drawn the line between the fascism driving the convoy and transphobia, let's let Billboard Chris explain why he showed up.

29/ The fact that "freedom supporters" are also extremely supportive of transphobic assholes like Billboard Chris and Shannon Boschy is the least surprising thing I've heard all day.

30/ And here's where I have to talk about Shannon Boschy's family life. Shannon has an estranged transgender son and his inability to accept his son is clearly what is motivating this whole thing.

31/ Parents are supposed to be supportive of their children. But instead, Shannon has made it his personal crusade to campaign against the "gender identity ideology" that he thinks negatively impacted his family.

32/ Shannon's son has courageously spoken out against his anti-trans crusade as well.

34/ Here he pretty much admits that his transphobic obsession is all because his son came out and he doesn't respect his son's gender identity.

35/ This is why Shannon is hands down the worst. It's not just because of his far-right views or his public anti-trans activism, it's because he does it all to spite his own son.

36/ Wrapping up, Shannon is endorsed by both the Campaign Life Coalition and Vote Against Woke.

37/ The fact that the Campaign Life Coalition considers this man to be "pro-family" shows the utter depravity of the "family values" crowd.

38/ Shannon Boschy is not only a transphobe but also just a sickening person in general. He needs to be soundly repudiated on October 24th. If you are in OCDSB Zone 6 (Rideau-Rockcliffe & Alta Vista), look into the other candidates, in particular Lyra Evans (@LyraEvansOtt)
