A few of the people on here that I trust explicitly have been warning about this mutation for a while.
We may be arriving at a whole new chapter in the pandemic, or maybe even book 3.
For those who can't read it, it's about BQ.1.1, which seems to be evading some existing immunity, causing serious illness, and spreading faster than anything else around.
Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to say it evades evusheld and bebtelovimab.
Bad luck for people relying on antibody treatments.
Where have the tools gone?

My bet is that unmitigated schools are *the* main driver of Covid spread.
We've got two and a half years of patterns to look at now.
Cases rise at the start of every term.

To every hammer a problem looks like a nail.
Maybe that's why, to me, an air handling consultant, Covid looks like an airborne pathogen whose spread can be reduced by air filtration.
But I'm probably blinkered. 🙄

Look, stop me if I'm out of order here... but I have a theory about what causes Long Covid.
Not got time to write more now, will share later.
Nervous about saying really, it sounds so crazy...

I think slowly.
It's taken me a couple of years to get my head round the government and media gaslighting about Covid.
But I feel like it's starting to make sense now, and I feel like I'm now starting to become able to properly articulate the problem and the solutions.

They said (lying): "The best thing we can do for kids and society and the economy is to stop living in fear and open everything up again without any mitigations."
Good people heard this and thought that to remain good people they must stop living in fear and engage in life again without any mitigations for the sake of the kids and society and the economy.
But everything about 'The best thing we can do for kids and society and the economy is to stop living in fear and open everything up again without any mitigations' is a lie.
