In the Jon Stewart interview with Arkansas AG Leslie Rutledge, she said they had "experts" in their brief that supported their state ban on gender affirming care. The "experts" are not qualified and are ideologically motivated. Let's take a look at them.

A Thread: 🧵 Picture of Jon Stewart on the left and Arkansas AG Leslie Ru
There are a total of four experts relied on by the state of Arkansas:

Dr. Stephen Levine
Dr. Mark Regnerus
Dr. Paul Hruz
Dr. Patrick Lappert

Let's take a look at them. Dr. Stephen Levine, a psychiatrist who formerly served on WP
Dr. Patrick Lappert is a plastic surgeon who's allowed his board certification to expire and no longer practices surgery. He runs a botox clinic in a strip mall in Alabama next to a Pizza Hut. He's never worked with trans patients and has no experience treating gender dysphoria. Picture of a strip mall with Dr. Lappert's office next to a
Dr. Paul Hruz is a doctor affiliated with the hate group Alliance Defending Freedom. He objects to gender affirming care on religious grounds and doesn't care about trans youth. He stated "some children are born in this world to suffer and die."

Hruz is unqualified and the court in Kadel rejected most of his testimony finding him to not qualified. "He has never diagnosed a patient with gender dysphoria. . . conducted any original research about gender dysphoria. . . or published any scientific, peer-reviewed literature" First, Hruz is not qualified to offer expert opinions on the
Dr. Stephen Levine makes his entire living on denying trans people access to gender affirming care. In his testimony, he's referred to trans people as "narcissistic" and has practiced a form of conversion therapy on his patients.

Dr. Levine almost entirely subsists on being an anti-trans "expert." He's in his 80's, rarely sees patients, and does not publish any peer-reviewed research. Levine gets paid more than $20k by earning $400+/hr per case he's involved in as an expert. It's about the money for him.
Dr. Mark Regnerus wrote the infamous "New Family Structures" paper in 2012 on same-sex couples and the effects on children with a terrible methodology. The paper was ideologically driven by animus and it attracted significant controversy for being flawed.
austinchronicle.com/news/2013-03-2… New Documents Contradict Regnerus' Claims on Gay Parenting S
Regnerus was thoroughly discredited by this study and he has no expertise in the care of gender dysphoria in trans youth. He went to significant lengths to undermine LGBTQ families with a severely flawed paper that was driven by his animus.
These are the experts that Leslie Rutledge relies on in pushing back against Jon Stewart. It's no wonder she couldn't answer the question. The experts she relies on are bigots and quacks with no expertise on treating gender dysphoria.
This is why they consistently lose in court. They have no experts. Gender affirming care is the standard set by every major medical organization in the US. They have to rely on these hacks because they are driven by hate and animus, not a genuine concern for trans youth.
I've litigated cases with Levine, Lappert, and Hruz. I helped prepare rebuttal witness testimony against them. I mean it when I say these so called "experts" are unqualifed. Their bias against trans people is palpable and it'a reason why most of their testimony was stricken.
To close out the thread, I presented a peer reviewed paper at a UCLA Law health justice conference this past week dealing with this exact issue and how to push back against pseudoscience and unqualified experts. I'll post the link to the paper when it's published.

Dr. Ruuttajerttu Kaltiala, a Finnish doctor and paid member of SEGM has been able to completely colonize trans healthcare and push restrictions on care. She was involved in Cass Review, p-hacked research on suicidality in trans youth, and DeSantis' ban on care in Florida.

The latest is a statement from the The European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry that endorsed the Cass review and pushes for more restrictions on gender affirming care. Kaltiala has had her fingers in nearly every major rollback of trans healthcare in Europe.
Dr. Kaltiala connected Hilary Cass with the Catholic Medical Association member and DeSantis appointee, Patrick Hunter. Hunter led the process to ban gender affirming care in Florida through the medical board highlighting politicized and faulty research.

This is the most gaslighting bullshit I've ever seen. The NHS has a 10+ year waiting list to access adult transition services. Who the hell is being rushed after waiting a decade to access care?

They don't want trans people to exist. Image
If you signed up for the adult service at 18, you would likely be 30 before you get an initial appointment under the NHS. Add to that a heavily gatekept process that could take years to access hormones and you would be approaching 35 before you even started HRT.
At that point, they'll tell you it's too late, you'll never pass and you'll disrupt your life. So don't transition. This is a moving of the overton window to ultimately eradicate trans people in the UK. That's what this is all about.

How to foment racial hatred:

Step 1: Post about a crime by a Black person against a white person.

Step 2: say you didn't hear about it because it "doesn't fit the narrative."

Step 3: repeat endlessly to reify your own racist narrative.

The conspiratorial insinuation that media doesn't report it because it "doesn't fit the narrative" is how they both undermine and discredit mainstream sources while building up their own racist narrative as being the "truth." It's a classic white supremacist tactic.
It relies on posts that remove all context to push a racist viewpoint. Crime statistics, social conditions, or even common sense are purposefully held back to lean into this paranoid conspiratorial framing.

Pretty sure the end wokeness twitter account is run by Jack Posobiec if any reporters want to dig into it.
Here's a full archive of their tweets. Their early tweets were deleted but the archive shows an immediate large reach for a brand new account meaning larger accounts were boosting it. Primarily AF accounts such as Stacy Rae.

One of the earliest tells that clued me in was the use of the word "shlit." Basically, only Posobiec and End Wokeness used it up until the last month. LoTT uses it now but it was primarily Posobiec who popularized the word. twitter.com/search?q=shlit…

The New York Times is insisting that employee criticisms of articles should only be done through "proper channels."

Last year, they investigated employees who made their disagreement known through a public letter of Times writers.

BREAKING: Florida has taken unilateral administrative action and banned gender marker changes on drivers licenses. Any trans person who has had theirs changed is potentially subject to suspension. Anyone attempting to change it after could be criminally prosecuted for "fraud." Image
If the language used in this directive is taken at face value, any trans person driving with a changed gender marker on their drivers license could be criminally charged with fraud.

This interpretation could potentially apply to anyone driving in the state, including tourists.
Any out trans person could have their license revoked or suspended at any time under this policy and unlikely to be able to be renewed with the current gender marker.

This is a massive and intrusive change erasing legal recognition and criminalizing trans people in the state.
