AU where Binghe blackens before he becomes a disciple in CQMS and when SQQ accepts him, SQQ nods in respect to this child who has seen the ways of the world. He finds no sense of disgust towards this Binghe because this Binghe does not remind him of all that he was

flawed back then: weak, hopeful, pathetic. So he drinks the tea his new disciple has brewed.

Anyways, SQQ trains LBH as his head disciple. MF gets jealous as canon went but Binghe is smarter. He knows better how to deal with them. Bullies are to be dealt with swiftly.

You can't show any weakness or you'd just incite them more. Before he could grow stronger, he could only use dirty tricks against the other disciples. A few months later, he's beating them up.

The best part is, he knows just where to hit so it'd hurt. He knows just where to hit that won't cause damage that'll land him into trouble. He knows where to hit that people won't see the bruises.

And SQQ is watching LBH slowly takeover the disciples in satisfaction. This will be his successor. Oh, the irony. It makes him laugh. The Gentleman's Peak. The Scholar's Peak. Known to house the rich and the spoiled, will be led by street rats in two succeeding generations.

I think when Binghe finally learns how to act "appropriately", he'll see the signs of SQQ being like him. A street rat. The same guarded look. The same disdain towards the rich. The way SQQ reacts towards sweets. The tense way Shizun moves sometimes when he has to act gracefully

but he's tired. SQQ earns Binghe's respect and vice versa.

I don't think NYY will fall for this Binghe in this AU. The boy she loved was sweet and kind. Not this boy who's so like Shizun, cold and aloof.

In this AU, I think Binghe is lonelier than ever. He is paired up often with NYY by his Shizun who trusts that he won't do anything towards her. They might be friends because that's just how NYY is. Sweet and friendly. But they won't be close.

When the abyss arc comes, since SQQ respects LBH enough, he talks to his disciple. He tells him of what he knows of the abyss. He tells him how this is the only way the both of them could possibly hope to survive. SQQ, with YQY's favoritism, might be able to. But not Binghe.

And Binghe would understand. Binghe would jump. He has lived life always planning how to survive. He understands the predicament they're in. So he jumps.

SQQ hopes he is right and the boy survives. Some part of him, a part that has always been and always will be Xiao Jiu, aches to see the boy who he has become fond of go

Five years later, Shizun and disciple reunites at Jinlan City. They greet one another with respect. LBH apologizes for not returning and might never be returning to his Shizun but he has learned something about his past, about HHPM's involvement in the death of his parents

He wishes to get revenge and become the leader of the sect that vilified his father and forced his birth mother to death.

SQQ is both impressed and pissed coz he was looking forward to retiring early. He knows that with his broken core, he couldn't possibly ascend. QHT comes and throws accusations. LBH defends SQQ and allows SQQ to be free.

LBH becomes HHPM a few years later. He has freed his father from the array and now his father is now in charge of the demon realm. With his father in reign, him as the sect leader of one of the most influential sects and favored disciple of the Qing Jing Peak Lord, favorite of

the Sect Leader of the most powerful sect, they have been able to establish a truce and trading between the races. This is further strengthened by the marriage of one of the Peak Lords of CQMS and the king of the Northern Demons.

After the wedding, people speculated whether the QJP Lord is also in a relationship with his disciple, both who remained single til now, which they vehemently deny. Binghe has no desire for a wife.

His father has advised against using the sword because of how it negatively affects its user. Binghe believes himself to be too broken to jave a spouse and he wishes to have a love as strong and as true as his birth parents.

His old man from time to time like to sigh wistfully and recount about his short-lived adventures with his mother. SQQ is far too love and far too deeply in love with YQY. Plus he has treated Binghe more as a son
