Hello hello and welcome back to #SEOwomen! After taking a little break to get married, I've returned with the best of the best of women in search.
This week we've got a ton of bookmarkable content for ecommerce and local SEO. Let's begin! ⬇️🧵
Lately I've been obsessing about headless SEO and the incredible possibilities it offers for omnichanel search (*cough* #SearchOn announcements *cough*). I've written a 101 guide on it for @sanity_io because headless is awesome and I don't gatekeep 💅🏽 sanity.io/headless-seo
Aude Brunel speaks on @oncrawl of the concept of Phygital, a fun name to talk about funnelling online searchers into your physical stores. This is super relevant considering the #SearchOn updates from yesterday, so give it a read: oncrawl.com/technical-seo/…
Hello hello you gorgeous nerds!
The #SEOwomen have been busy making beautiful content for us this week. We've got AI stuff, international SEO, empowering pitches and a study that has ruffled some feathers.
Let's begin! 🔥🧵⬇️
If you've caught the speaking bug and would like to pitch to @brightonseo, @hannah_bo_banna has got you. She has written out a guide that'll teach you how to get your pitches accepted, so we can see your beautiful face on stage soon 💙 worderist.com/2022/04/19/how…
Absolute ICON 🦄 @torylynne has written out an advanced guide on content issues in international SEO. And let me assure you: this is not your classic international SEO guide, you've not seen this content before. oncrawl.com/technical-seo/…
There's a huge variation in inclusion amongst SEO publications.
@semrush boasts the most articles written by women in the industry, while at @ahrefs only 11% of their content is authored by a woman. @Moz is the closes publication to a 50/50 gender split.
The data shows us that women in SEO are more prolific writers, by aproximately 46%. Each female author in the SEO space has written an average of 4.5 articles in the last 12 years, while each male author has written a little over 3.
Literally every week women crate and share so much SEO knowledge I can't keep up! The #SEOwomen bar is so high I can't keep up 🔥
Here's the best of the best from this week🧵⬇️
Last week we celebrated the #WTSFest, organised by @areej_abuali and @techseowomen. The talks were incredible, and if you missed out, I really really recommend that you buy a recording ticket (available till the 4th of March): womenintechseo.com/conference/
The slides by @CrystalontheWeb offer a very data-rich business case on creating profile pages. It even offers an SEO template with the on-page optimisations and CTAs to implement. Epic. slideshare.net/CrystalCarter2…
