Ramifications of malnutrition r long term & would surely create a burden on the country, but how fair is it to call it as a Hunger Index & media projecting as a big number of ppl are dying of hunger in a country when the study is restricted to only children under 5 yrs? 15/18

With t kind of population India has & with #COVID19 a tremendous burden & stress on t healthcare delivery system in India and also under such circumstances the Government of India has been providing free 5Kg food grains to around 800 million people. Who else has done it? 16/18

When world was reeling under pandemic after effects there was least info being shared from China in 2020-21 either on number of new cases of #COVID19 every day or the number of deaths, then how come this country is in top 17 of the GHI index? Where did the data come from? 17/18

Reports by vested interests needs to be taken with a pinch of salt because with all that happened in last 2 years including the pandemic & with the economic down trend seen now in many countries we have fared better compared to many countries in that list of GHI 18/18
