Been difficult trial to cover with electronics banned not just in courtroom but entire courthouse. The Albert V. Bryan Courthouse is a void: Once you're in, nothing comes out with breaks just long enough to accomplish nothing or after daily adjournment.
That is why, as some observers note, daily news articles of proceedings aren't popping up until the evenings, nights. All these reporters with pens, pads transcribing 20, 30, 40 pages of notes. Been a big bad bear of a trial to cover. More to come ... after I transcribe notes.
The scene outside the Albert Bryant federal courthouse in Alexandria, Va., as we await the verdict in the #DanchenkoTrial. The jury got the case at 1:10 p.m. If they haven't reached verdict by 5:30ish, judge sending the home and we all come back and stand around some more. 
AND, SO, here we are, waiting for a verdict in the #DanchenkoTrial. Danchenko attorneys Danny Onorato and Stuart Sears are playing cards at a table in the lobby of the Westin hotel across the street from the courthouse.
While seated here in lobby, Igor Danchenko told me he's nervous, "taking lessons in Dutch," and has been eating cold oatmeal in his car during breaks. Said his wife thinks jury will take time to review all documents in case. Never know who you'll run into in the Westin lobby.
Actually said he "had finished his Dutch lessons for the day." Lot's of "#onzin" going on. #Dolan lied to him. He lied to #Steele. Steele embellished it all and it's all ... onzin. Poor jury.
