We are facing a climate and ecological crisis and we know the solution: a #PlantBasedFuture.

This isn't just something we've come up with out of nowhere - the need for a transition to a plant-based food system is widely accepted across the scientific community.
It would be a win for our climate, farmed animals, wildlife, farmers, the economy and EVERYONE.

But the government ISN'T LISTENING.

This is why we take non-violent direct action.
Because with this much at stake, what other options do we have?

Pouring milk is controversial - but that's what makes it a good action. This wasn't a spontaneous act, but rather a thoughtfully considered decision across the whole organisation that has created an international conversation on solutions to the climate crisis.

The uproar that has been created by spilling milk (or pouring soup like @JustStop_Oil ) shows exactly how the government and media have made the majority of people think that concerned individuals taking action are a bigger problem than the collapse of our entire climate.

These peaceful actions draw attention to the devastation of the animal farming industry, they push these key narratives into mainstream conversation and - most importantly - ultimately, they work.

Historically, direct action is what achieves change in a short amount of time.

Supermarkets throw away approximately 80 million pints of milk every year.
We feel that spilling a few in protest of the biggest issues facing humanity at this time is justified and we stand by it! Bring on more peaceful and necessary climate and animal justice actions ❤️️
