The Russians are admitting that the situation near Kherson is "difficult" and hard choices might have to be made. They are urging people to flee and talking about the destruction of the dam. I think we need to take Gen Armageddon at his word on this one. Russia is actively trying
to wreck Ukraine's ability to provide electricity and heating to its population just before winter and has already destroyed a dam. More crimes against humanity is nothing they will even bat an eye at. They know the situation cannot be salvaged militarily. The men they are
grabbing off streets and out of hostels are being sent straight to the front where they often end up dead within days of finding out they are in the army now. No training, no leadership and no equipment has turned mobilization into a slaughter. Its so bad that Russians by dribs,
drabs and entire units are voluntarily surrendering... Not because they are suddenly surrounded with no meaningful hope of fighting back, not because an officer with the authority has decided that all hope is lost and his men have satisfied honor but because they are not really
soldiers. They are not even cosplaying one. They are construction workers, addicts, prisoners, commuters, teachers, mechanics from all the various levels of Russian society (something about Dante....) who ended up in Ukraine against their will. The only way home is through a POW
camp. You can't win a war when the men and equipment you send with them end up in enemy hands as fast as you send them. So how to save the situation? Blow the dam and retreat behind the river and let winter do its work on the civilian population. It also has the possibility of
forcing NATO to intervene to stop Russia. If Russia attacks NATO, Russia is over. If NATO attacks Russia then there is a chance Russia can call for a ceasefire and gain the frozen conflict, they want so that part of Ukraine is consigned to them, and their war of aggression can be
spun as a win. Personally, I think NATO should send in ADA units and close Ukraine's skies to missiles and drones at least over the TPP's and major cities. We should also state that the destruction of the dam will trigger a NATO military response that won't stop until Russia is
ejected from Ukraine. We either take the dam and TPP cards off the table for Russia or Russia will keep playing them. Half measures have failed to dissuade Putin from carrying out his #GenocideOfUkrainians and now its nut cutting time. Thats today's message from me to Arkansas'
