Well well.

Someone has dirt on #Cruella and definitely wants to kick her leadership ambitions into touch.

“Security”. What’s the dirt.

Now we have 3-alias Grant Shapps in post!

You couldn’t make it up!!!
Sharing secure information on her private phone is one reason (with whom? What secure information?) …but apparently there is another reason …
And her letter of resignation full of barb and spite.
“Mother of all rows about migration” …

WHAT?

As Brenda from Bristol might say

“ANOTHER ONE?”
I guess if he wants to put in a No Confidence letter he really does have to resign.

Europe at risk of ‘much worse’ energy crisis next year, warns Qatar | Financial Times

If so we REALLY need to find ways to reduce usage, each one of us, whilst we build more resilient supplies.

ft.com/content/966111…
🇷🇺 supplied around 155bn cu meter of natural gas to EU countries last year, c 40% of the bloc’s total gas consumption. Brussels hopes to reduce that dependency by raising piped supply from countries such as Algeria & Norway, as well as ramping up LNG imports from further afield.
However, replacing all Russian gas into Europe would need an annual 112mn tonnes of LNG, equivalent to almost a third of today’s entire market, according to Bernstein Research.

Inflation expected to return to double figures - as chancellor Jeremy Hunt finds ways to claw back funds

ONS & economists have predicted it will show Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation increased to 10% in September, compared with 9.9% Aug
news.sky.com/story/inflatio…
There is likely to be an increase, despite falls in petrol prices (which dropped by around 4% over the month) and used car prices.

Food inflation is predicted to have jumped to 14.3% from 13.1% in August -affecting low income families disproportionately
It’s official. 10.1%. And September is usually the figure used for updating benefits and pensions… but not if Hunt can get away with not doing so.

Ah well. There’s still stories out there however hard Mr Leus tries to use money and SLAPP actions to keep it all quiet.

Like

So this one about a donation to RAAB also 🚩 the background.

Keep circulating so his SLAPP action doesn’t pay
Then there is the puzzling one about a £500k donation to the Prince’s Foundation

Schönbohm’s firing as president of Germany’s most important cybersecurity authority comes after recent media reports alleging he had links with people involved with Russian intelligence services.

Who else?
“ The programme also focused on a Berlin-based cyber security company called Protelion that had until recently been a member of the council. The company, which was previously called Infotecs, was a subsidiary of a Russian company called OAO Infotecs.”
According to the research network Policy Network Analytics, OAO Infotecs was founded by a former employee of the KGB, whom Russian president Vladimir Putin had rewarded with an honorary medal. Image

My problem with this sort of polling is that the quality of the answers depend A LOT upon the understanding of those participating about the impact of particular conditions.

Do they REALLY understand how the SM works to reduce red tape?
That we share a regulatory and enforcement platform so we don’t NEED the form filling.

That the CU does not get rid of much of that related red tape. More about tariffs that the FTA already reduces.
Do they understand that, as members, we have a judge of our own on the ECJ panel, but we don’t when we just follow the rules.

Do they understand the clout of having votes as members to decide what the regulations we will have to follow to sell into the market..but don’t outside?
