DHS personnel perform the DHS mission all around the world, including in Singapore. While in country, @SecMayorkas met with our personnel stationed in the region alongside @USAmbSG@RedWhiteBlueDot, to hear firsthand about the important work they perform each day.

.@SecMayorkas and @LawrenceWongST also had a productive visit in Singapore. Through the cyber dialogue, our law enforcement partnerships, and the Visa Waiver Program, 🇺🇸 DHS and 🇸🇬 Singapore have a strong and growing partnership for security in the Indo-Pacific.
.@SecMayorkas met with 🇸🇬 Minister @joteo_ylm & @CSASingapore Commissioner Koh to discuss our extensive work in #cyber & critical infrastructure. Through @CISAgov and CSA, we are expanding our collaboration to new areas, including connected communities and emerging technologies.
Next stop, @SecMayorkas joined @kshanmugam. Our work with the @mhasingapore, from our Home Team Academy partnership to our critical cybersecurity efforts with CSA, exemplifies the important relationship between the 🇺🇸 and 🇸🇬.
On the margins of #SICW2022, @SecMayorkas met with 🇹🇭 @prmdes_official to advance cyber cooperation via Thai National Security Agency’s 5-year plan. DHS has a strong partnership with Thailand in combating cybercrime & promoting digital access.
.@SecMayorkas also met with 🇻🇳 Vietnam’s Minister of Public Security to reaffirm our strong partnership with Vietnam for a free and open Indo-Pacific.
At the Port of Singapore, @SecMayorkas saw firsthand the partnership between @MPA_Signapore and @USCG to enhance ship safety and the security of the maritime transportation system.

ICE Houston arrested Pedro TREJO-Reyes, a 67-year-old citizen of Mexico. TREJO’s criminal history includes a conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child in Waller County, TX.
ICE Los Angeles arrested Juan Gabriel ZAMORANO-Gutierrez, a 43-year-old citizen of Mexico. ZAMORANO’s criminal history includes a sex offender registry for conviction of annoy/molest victim under 18 in Ontario, CA.
Today, DHS conducted a third country deportation flight to Eswatini. These criminal illegal aliens are so uniquely barbaric that their home countries refused to take them back.
Under the leadership of @Sec_Noem and @POTUS Trump, we are removing these convicted criminals from our soil so they can never hurt another American victim.
VIETNAMESE NATIONAL:
• Convicted of child rape— sentenced to 20 years confinement.

ICE Dallas arrested Jose Valentin ROMO-Ancira, a 28-year-old citizen of Mexico. ROMO’s criminal history includes a conviction for assault causing bodily injury in Austin, TX.
ICE Boston arrested Juan Angel PEREZ-Barahona, a 38-year-old citizen of Honduras. PEREZ’s criminal history includes convictions for sex acts with a minor, sexual contact with a minor, and risk of injury to a child in Danbury, CT.
Federal officers arrested at least 361 illegal aliens from two marijuana grow sites in California—including violent and dangerous criminal illegal aliens convicted of rape, child molestation and kidnapping during the operation who were working at the site.

Santos Alberto Rodriguez-Jacinto, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who was arrested in El Salvador for TERRORISTIC THREATS in 2006 and 2011. Rodriguez-Jacinto was encountered and arrested in McAllen, Texas in August 2018.
Josefina Lopez-Martinez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was previously deported in 1998 and convicted in 2023 of WILLFUL CRUELTY TO A CHILD in California.
