17 days til midterm elections 2022 & I woke up feeling feisty. There’s no debate of whether this election is a game changer. The 🌎 is watching to see if voters in this country will cast ballots that protect our democracy, shore up civil rights, demonstrate that we, as a country

will fight to close gaps of inequities & correct the course for true justice for all. It’s high time for this country to decide if we the people will stand up against hate, fascism, segregated right’s & inequality, greed, erasure & lies.

This idea of bowing out, sitting out &

holding out is a self defeating exercise of giving up your power before the battle begins. Any tangible, gain or victory being sought can only be achieved by exercising your right to vote while everyone still can. This isn’t hyperbole. The GOP has been clear on how they want to

decimate women’s rights, Social Security & Medicare. They claim to want a smaller government as they ban books, invade school boards, neglect providing communities with clean water & air, value profits over price gouging at the gas pumps & grocery stores, neglect our veterans &

willfully endorse ignorance, sedition & treachery. If the American public believes they’re safe because their hate-filled regimes & policies haven’t targeted them, they need to rethink this because it’s just a matter of time before they’re singled out.

This election isn’t just

one where we will choose our next governor, attorney general, Secretary of State senators, representatives, school boards & more. It’s not only a vote on legislation & state proposals. It’s one where we determine the course of this country’s way forward. We’re voting on our

DEMOCRACY in the purest sense this election season. The lethargic disaffected need to join the fight for a better America or get out of the way.
