1/3 People of #Ethiopia has democratically elected its government. GoE had declared humanitarian truce based ceasefire on 24th March. Supply of food, medicine, fuel, cash…were made possible. While GoE ready to sit for lasting peace talk, on 24th August #TPLF invaded Amhara and
2/3 Afar looting the fuel, food.. supplied to Tigray region. Why so much -ve stands & statements against Ethiopia. During the invasion no such statements, but only when TPLF is pushed back. Equating the #TPLF with GoE is wrong. Appeasements of the wrong & unlawful side
3/3 prolongs the conflict. Respect sovereignty of Ethiopia. Support a lasting peace through dialogue. Support #Ethiopia in its effort to restore law and order #DisarmTPLF.
