Between walk-in and mail-in absentee, turnout is roughly 10,000 voters. That is nearing the halfway mark of 2018 early vote. Given historical trends for the final 2 weeks of early voting, I would estimate we will surpass the early vote totals for 2018 by a healthy margin.
Women still outvoting men 56-44. Younger voter numbers are starting to creep up with voters below age 50 now making up roughly 15% of the early vote.
As anticipated, GOP vote share is becoming more in line with historical trends of around the 25% mark with Dems making up 56%. Notably, GOP voters are choosing mail-in absentee over in-person as GOP mail-in vote is about 10 percentage points higher than their overall average.
Few geographic changes with Centre, Clay, and Harris TWPs still leading the way. However Warren TWP jumped up a few spots.
