We’re following reports that a Meridian An-12BK has crashed in Greece, west of Kavala. flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/…

The flight was en route from Nis to Amman when it turned back toward land about halfway across the Aegean Sea. #MEM3032
This particular An-12BK first flew in 1971. It began service with Meridan earlier this year. jetphotos.com/info/An-12-013…
Meridan flight #MEM3032 took off from Nis at 18:36 UTC time.

At 19:30 UTC time it made a U-turn over the Aegean Sea.

We received the last signal at 19:47:39 UTC time. The transponder was reporting an altitude of 350 feet, about 36 km from Kavala Airport in Greece.

A Ryanair flight #FR4978 from Athens to Vilnius, diverted to Minsk in Belarus earlier today.

According to reports in media a Belarus journalist, that was onboard the flight, was arrested after the diversion to Minsk.

Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 lost more than 10.000 feet of altitude in less than one minute, about 4 minutes after departure from Jakarta.

Flight #SJ182 was operated by a Boeing 737-500 "classic" with registration number PK-CLC (MSN 27323). First flight for this aircraft was in May 1994 (26 years old).
ADS-B signal from flight #SJ182 was lost at 07:40:27 UTC time. The flight was en route from Jakarta to Pontianak in Indonesia.

While we do not appear to have ground coverage we are currently processing additional granular ADS-B data from this flight.
