On 1 November 2011, LOT flight 16 from Newark touched down in Warsaw without its landing gear extended. None of the 220 passengers and 11 crew were injured, though the aircraft was declared a hull loss. Here’s what happened. Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 lost more than 10.000 feet of altitude in less than one minute, about 4 minutes after departure from Jakarta.

Pakistan International Airlines flight #PK8303 from Lahore has crashed during landing in Karachi. The aircraft involved is a 15 year old Airbus A320 with registration AP-BLD

As the flight was tracked with MLAT we only have limited position data. Flight #PK8303 took off from Lahore at 08:05. At 09:34 the aircraft made a landing attempt that was aborted at 275 feet and the aircraft climbed up to 3175 feet. Signal was lost at 09:40 at 525 feet.

Austin Airport confirming that an individual was struck and killed by a landing aircraft this evening on RWY 17R. Upon landing, Southwest flight #WN1392 reported that there ‘might have been a person on the runway.’ flightradar24.com/data/flights/w… Image We do not yet know if the Southwest 737 struck the person or if that flight was just the first aircraft to see the person.
