@icpjesse. I have lot of respect on you, @Dfinity, and community. I love #IC. I am hugely invested into it.

I never want to show any panic or FUD. And this is not my intent here too. I just don't involve too much into governances. Probably its always way above my head tbh.

I am also part of @thefoolscourt_ and pretty much always learning there what team talks and process the information on governance voting. I mostly involve in Dev discussions.

Off late, there has been a lot of concerns going on with governance. I tried to ignore & move on

as there r lot of smart people already thinking it through to reach terms with it. But, past few days, it's been worrying me.

I try to just focus on pxys & my job. But governance topic keeps popping up in tweets and they all seem to be valid. How can I be silent about it?

My worry is about the NNS treasury idea & potentially a future proposal on it.

We, #IC, still at the very early stage. We have to take careful decisions for its future success.

I am very mindful in this bear market. A small tmporary damge is detrimental to IC right now.

NNS treasury may only help a little to fund the projects, but it might cause a permanent damage. It's a band-aid solution to the long-term problem and it only causes more problems.

So, we have been hearing lot of same concerns from many of us.

And many wonderful people are considering looking elsewhere who came here anticipating NNS is a holy grail for the decentralization.

And all I was hoping that @Dfinity could voice their opinion and help community ease some decisions.

My belief is still very strong on #IC. And I will stay put. But as a community, I am just trying to do my part with my honesty and morals.

I understand there is always legal constraints and @dfinity can only do little to talk in a public podium about their opinions.
