The projection is strong in the Democratic Party.

Remember the Covid lockdowns, America? When blue states tanked their economies?

Florida proved they were medically worthless and economically disastrous nonsense. The Dems' accusations are always a tell.
Let me beat the sock puppet accounts to the punch: Florida was middle of the pack on age-adusted Covid-related mortality.

Blue lockdown states that fared worse: Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Nevada.

Mainstream media never apologized for getting Trump/Russia Collusion wrong, although they falsely smeared a president as a traitor.

They never apologized for claiming the Science said Covid vaccines stop infection & spread.

We have no choice but to assume they lied on purpose.
They never apologized for calling the Hunter Biden laptop "Russian disinformation."

Or when they falsely claim that rioters killed people on January 6.

Or when they lied about Trump wanting more National Guard on J6.

Orwhen they called the J6 riot an "insurrection."
They never said "I'm sorry" when they lied about the Trump photo op at St. John's Church.

Or about the "fine people" hoax, which even CNN's Jake Tapper has admitted was a myth.

Or about Trump saying people should 'drink Clorox' to cure Covid. That was a lie, too.

There is a very simple reason why America didn't weaponize its bureaucracy in the past.

You instantly lose the trust of half the American people.

It is a toxic political strategy and frustrated voters *will* take it out on your party come election time.
Radical Democrats need to look in the mirror and consider: Maybe the Founders were smarter than us?
If you weaponize a bureaucracy against Democrats, you invite the wrath of conservatives *and* independents.

If you weaponize a bureaucracy against Republicans, you invite the wratch of the left *and* independents.

That is the way it should be.

If CDC officials want to play politics, they shouldn't be surprised when Americans add the agency to the list of failed institutions they see as 'political.'
Once you blow your reputation like the CDC just did during the Covid pandemic, it's gone for at least a generation. Good luck getting it back. You're done.
This is just a warning to the CDC because they are about to face a political whirlwind for years to come.

Red state governors, Republican Congressmen, even presidents are going to have a big incentive to take an axe to the CDC, its authority, and its budget.
