I recently reread discworld and was disappointed with the sheer glee pratchett makes fun of fat ppl, and this issue of fat rep is that much more compounded when you intersect things like race & disability—people don’t even believe fat asian non-men exist irl, nevermind in fiction

it is very, very tiring when the only refuge when you’re fat is ~*fat-positive*~ communities that are nonetheless painfully white—this is the primary reason why I have not participated more in fat activism, I feel invisibilized in all the conversations

anyway, at least this has given me the push to commit and make the main character of #RazingBabel fat ✌🏼 if my fat ass can haul thousands of pounds of paint for 8 hrs a day—many thin people can’t do this!—then I can have a fat fantasy protagonist hiking mountains for locusts
like my fat ass has hiked for miles and can walk forEVER, AND I’m more flexible than most thin people I know
