Major Bohdan "Tavr" Krotevych, the Chief of Staff; captain Ivan "Ignat" Ignatiev, the Deputy Commander of logistics support; the founder and the first RGT commander Andriy Biletsky and the third RGT commander Maksym Zhorin joined the ceremony.
"We are grateful to the people of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv for the recognition and opening this street. Many of our brothers along with commander friend Redis are still in captivity. Mariupol was just the beginning. We continue to defend our Motherland," noted Ivan Ignatiev.
Andriy Biletsky said: "The name "Heroes of the AZOV RGT" is about those who will not return and those in captivity. The world knows about the heroic Mariupol and Azovstal defense. AZOV showed how to fight against a superior enemy till the end. AZOV is an example for the whole 🇺🇦"
