This doesn't exactly add up to the AK DoE tally yet (probably because of I how I tallied overvotes), but a preliminary analysis of the Alaska Cast Vote Record shows that @NBegich would have defeated @MaryPeltola had @SarahPalinUSA ended up in 3rd place by about 8.5K votes.
This is very rough (I didn't calculate those who under or overvoted in later rounds), but ~26% of AK-AL SE voters were bullet voters who ranked only 1 candidate. ~1.5% exhausted entirely. The other 72% ranked at least 2 candidates. ~7% ranked 4 - looking at you @WillMuldoon.
If you're wondering what would have happened had Peltola been eliminated after write-ins, Begich would have won by about 22 points.
AK released another Combined Ballots report. 12,784 votes remain to be counted in AK - 8,240 absentees, 6,309 Question votes, and ~469 early votes (some HDs are negative in the EV column for some reason, which is why it doesn't add up).
Correction - some of the Question votes have been counted. One column in my spreadsheet says ~4,484 have not. I need to double check my spreadsheet to make sure that's accurate. I didn't have a column for Q votes counted before today because 0 had been counted.
The correct number is 4,089 fully or partially accepted Question votes remain to be counted.
The interactive has been updated to reflect the new numbers. But you'll likely need to do a hard refresh to see them.
AK DoE published actual accepted stats, so we now know the true universe of what has come in. We're still missing Questioned votes from a few HDs, but I'm going to try to run my model with them in a bit, since they're more rep of statewide now.
I've revised my model to take into account the ? votes, and got rid of the Max model. Instead, I have a second model assuming that the vote shifts in HDs with 0 ABS/EV vote info by the difference between SW total and ABS/EV vote.
Map of the first round winner in the 2021 Mayoral Primary by new CD. Yang barely won the portion of NY-3 in NYC + NY-5. Wiley won NY-7. Garcia took NY-10 & 12 on Manhattan. Adams won the rest.
In the 8th and final RCV round, Garcia also picked up NY-3, 6, 7 & 11.
FYI - @SageOfTime1. I think I computed this correctly. I'm sure about Round 8. Haven't checked the totals for Round 1, but the map seems right.
