The people of Iowa are well served by Senator @ChuckGrassley.  He is a consistent conservative, independent-minded, and a true gentleman.

I am proud to call him a friend and proud to support his reelection to the Senate. #IASen
Senator Grassley is a humble public servant, the exact opposite of his Democratic opponent.  While I respect Mr. Franken’s service, I find many of his statements to be condescending and beyond the pale.
➡️ He was offended by the idea that he would be the junior senator to Joni Ernst, who was a mere Lt. Colonel.

➡️ He suggested the Governor of Iowa, Kim Reynolds, should fly away on a broom.
➡️ He even was condescending about my thirty years of military service as an Air Force lawyer.

Iowa voters are well-served by Senator Grassley, and I expect he will be overwhelmingly reelected.
I also do not believe the arrogance and condescension we have seen from Mr. Franken will play well with Iowa voters.

He doesn’t have to worry about being the “subordinate” junior senator from Iowa because I don’t think he is ever going to be elected as senator from Iowa!

I was honored to be able to participate in the Yale forum with President Zelensky of Ukraine and Senator Blumenthal from Connecticut.

After eight months of fighting, the Ukrainians have turned the tide of battle.

It is in our national security interest to ensure that Putin’s ambitions to rewrite the map of Europe fail.
The economic and military aid provided by the United States and others has been vital to Ukraine’s success.

No domestic problem in America gets better with Putin dismembering Ukraine and being absolved of war crimes and numerous acts of terror.

When I say I respect @elonmusk I’m not kidding.
I’ve known him for years.

He’s done amazing things by launching satellites to make America competitive in space and producing modern, high-performance electric vehicles.

His Starlink system has also helped in Ukraine.
@elonmusk My concern with his Russian “peace” proposal is he is legitimizing one of the greatest crimes of the 21st century by Putin.
@elonmusk I do NOT want to see Elon Musk become the Henry Ford of our time:

▶️ Great industrialist.
▶️ Genius manufacturer.
▶️ Gives voice to evil in pursuit of peace.

With all due respect to Elon Musk - and I do respect him - I would suggest he needs to understand the facts of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Suggesting we end the Russian invasion by simply giving Russia parts of Ukraine - after all the suffering - is dumb.

It is also an affront to the bravery of the Ukrainians fighting to defend their homeland.
In 1994, through the Budapest Memorandum, Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons arsenal — the third largest in the world — in return for assurances their territorial integrity would be protected.

When it comes to #GASEN this is the way the media world works today for conservative Republicans.

▶️ Publish a story relying on an anonymous source in a left-leaning outlet like the Daily Beast.
▶️ See the claim repeated and amplified by the Washington Post and other larger, liberal media outlets.

▶️ Buried several paragraphs down include the qualification the initial reporting could not be “independently verified.”
Rinse and Repeat - This is how Liberals play the game.

It did not work when they tried to destroy Brett Kavanaugh and it will not work in Georgia today.

Very sad to hear of the passing of my dear friend former Congressman Mark Souder from Indiana.

wane.com/top-stories/po…
I first met Mark in 1994 when both of us were part of the Contract with America freshman class that gave the Republicans our first majority in the House in over 40 years.
From the first day I met Mark, we bonded over our shared desire to change the course of the country and fulfill our obligation under the Contract with America.

Stacey Abrams perfectly encapsulates the belief and direction of the Democratic Party when it comes to the unborn -- deny science and support abortion on demand up until the moment of birth.

This extreme position only works if you deny science.

Today’s outrageous statement fits a pattern.

Abrams is a socialist on economic matters, soft on crime, and now wants to deny even the most basic protections to the unborn by claiming they do not have a heartbeat at six weeks.

She is wrong on so many levels.
An unborn child has a heartbeat at six weeks and at fifteen weeks they can feel pain. This is why the unborn child is provided anesthesia during an operation.
