Some people are focused solely or primarily on their needs without taking into consideration how they might affect you. Are they a time drainer? Do they only want access to your resources? Are they an attention seeker? Has God told you to make room for them in your life?

If the Lord has told you to make room for someone, by all means, DO SO. When Jesus adds someone to you, He does so for a purpose. But pay attention to your inner-man, that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. I find most people DO KNOW and have an immediate reaction to others.

Maybe they’re a good person, not demonized at all, but completely ignorant of the demands on your life, value of your time, or how inappropriate they are. Adjust your settings. Restructure your access points and protocols.

They might be good people, but the Holy Spirit will tell you if they’re YOUR people. He knows if you heard Him; let Him see you adjust accordingly. You are called to greatness and elevation…not everyone will understand or respect that, so YOU have to be the door-keeper of YOU.🙏🏽
