I bought full candy bars but I think I put them out too late. I don’t know if kids trick or treat after dark anymore.

Back in my day, elementary school kids would trick or treat after dark but I’m a Gen Xer and adults were actively trying to kill us in the 80s so who knows

I’m still not over Justice Jackson yesterday explaining that the goddamn equal protection clause was meant for Black people not white people. It just made my day. Her dissents are going to be FIRE.
Because this is the year that white people will twist the equal protection clause, making it seem like it was meant to produce a colorblind society which it absolutely 100% was not.

The 14th amendment is not race neutral. It was not intended to be.
but the ✌🏾originalists ✌🏾will ignore that the 14th amendment was drafted for Black people because the so-called originalists are not about what the Constitution actually says or what the Framers wanted—they’re about anti-Blackness and white dominance. Yes, even Clarence.
