“Indeed, in all seriousness, the leadership of the world's largest country thought Ukraine would just fall into their hands.
“They lied so much that they believed their lies.
“They were delusional and they thought nothing will be there to stop them.
“The whole system was built on the fact that you have to say what your superiors want to hear from you.
“And your superiors also were supposed to be always telling their superiors what they want to hear. It's the whole way up to the corridors of the Kremlin.
“They were blind. The lie blinded them.”
The Big Lie might be a blessing. Look to Ukraine for perspective & inspiration. The Big Lie carries the seeds of its own destruction. It’s time to make a hard, tough choices now. Help Democrats win. Get out, stand up & be counted at the polls. Get out the vote. #VoteBlueIn2022

This is a fun story. Birders in AZ have brought back a species of bat from the Endangered List. audubon.org/news/how-hummi…
“The stealthy, winged creatures arrive at night, seeking backyard hummingbird feeders. The nectar is meant for avian visitors, but in the twilight hours, it is lesser long-nosed bats that feast on the sweet liquid.
“They take over Marilyn Hanson’s feeders shortly after sunset, pausing to speed-sip the nectar and vanishing as swiftly as they appear at her suburban Tucson, Arizona, home. By morning, the feeders are drained.
“Piatt found himself in political crosshairs within days of Jan. 6 after former Capitol Police chief Steven Sund, … accused the general of saying in a key meeting during the riot …

“Piatt, Sund said, exasperated other senior U.S. officials on a conference call by expressing concerns about how it would look if military personnel responded.
“We have dumpster-dived into general election ballots and identified the 10 most out-there candidates with a real shot of winning—and a real opportunity to wreak havoc if elected. We’ve organized the list by office.
“A disturbing new political ad against Gov. Greg Abbott contains footage of the moment 18-year-old Uvalde gunman Salvador Ramos entered Robb Elementary School on May 24 and gunned down 19 children and two teachers.
“The 30-second spot titled ‘Side Effect’ depicts Abbott in 2021 signing a law easing restrictions on handguns.” chron.com/politics/artic…
“‘After El Paso, Sutherland Springs and Santa Fe, cops warned Greg Abbott that his new gun bills were dangerous,’ a narrator says in the ad as officers are shown speaking out against the bill's passage.
Solar and wind power can save money throughout the nation. Connecting Texas to the national power grids would create a new market for Texas renewables and lower costs in connected states. Moreover, Texas will never again be vulnerable to the death & destruction of Stormageddon.
If a state generates its own solar power, it saves money for consumers. If a state doesn’t, they can connect to states like Texas that are rich in renewable energy.
GA wants to charge tariffs for rooftop solar to subsidize expensive thermal energy. I expect that to be one of the recommendations of Greg Abbott’s secret energy panel. Abbott wants to impose additional costs on all renewables to support the sale of coal & natural gas plants.
“This year, gas prices averaged $6.24 per million British thermal units, compared with $3.64 per MMBtu last year. Coal prices rose in 2022 to $3.72/MMBtu compared with last year’s price of $3.26 MMBtu.
“The report notes that thermal power plant marginal costs vary depending on their specific characteristics.”
