I'm recovered/ing from #LongCovid. Taking nattokinase 2,000 Fu and 120,000 spu of serrapetase 1 to 2x/day changed my life. I can think, move and talk to friends. My life is back. I started in April and felt different with in ten days. There are other things that helped too. 1/
Take then enzymes on an empty stomach with plenty of water. This account has great info on enzymes and other supplements and prescriptions.
I was taking the niacin protocol and some other supplements when I started the enzymes in April. 3/
I did restorative yoga everyday to calm my central nervous system. This is so important. Our CNS has been given a shock and needs to be in rest and digest mode for us to heal. 4/
I was diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension by a PT that's knowledgeable in POTS. This explained my dizziness and heart pounding in chest. They had me drink 1-2L of water/day, 10 g salt/day, and not putting head below heart. I did not try compression tights. 5/
Pacing is huge, this includes resting the brain. There are lots of resources on pacing. ammes.org/pacing/.
I know this won't work for everyone and I can't speak to #ME/CFS, I wish I knew more. The research I'm working from is here, dbkgroup.org/longcovid/.
I used Doctors Best enzymes.
My recovery didn't happen overnight. This was a healing process. I started in April and by July I was adding very light cardio. I had to be careful with my energy expenditures when I started feeling better.
