#NNPC, AKWA IBOM, SOLUTIONS HUB LTD SIGN DEAL ON MARINE LOGISTICS HUB*

1. The @nnpclimited, Akwa Ibom State Government and Solutions Hub Limited have sealed a deal to establish a fully integrated, deepwater logistics shore base in the State.

2. Uyo, the Capital of Akwa Ibom State was yesterday agog as Governor Udom Emmanuel, the leadership of @nnpclimited and Solution Hub Ltd signed the dotted lines to execute the shareholder’s agreement of Ibom Solution Hub Ltd.

3. The logistics base, proposed to be sited on a 40 sq kms space in Ibaka, Mbo LGA, within the already designated FTZ in A/Ibom State, is modeled to be an alternative to existing Logistics bases in Nigeria to offer offshore construction support to West & Central African regions.

4. In his remarks, Governor Emmanuel thanked NNPC Ltd and Solution Hub for their thoughtfulness in choosing to partner with Akwa Ibom State thereby making the project a reality.

5. He reassured investors of the hospitality of Akwa Ibom State and solicited for more projects that will provide employment and development opportunities for indegenes of the State.

7. Also speaking, the Group Chief Executive Officer, @nnpclimited, Mallam @MKKyari, represented by the Executive Vice President Upstream, Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye, described the project as a game changer not just for the oil and gas industry, but for the nation's economy.
