The FIR in #MorbiBridge collapse mentions no names of contractor who was awarded repairs contract.

Oreva, the contractor is a Rs 800 crore Ajanta clock manufacturing company without any construction experience.
Oreva which started manufacturing Ajanta clocks in #Morbi shifted factory to Shenzen in China laying off over 10,000 workers.

Bizarrely the same company was awarded repairs and maintenance contract of #MorbiBridge 😳
#Morbi collector had refused contract to Oreva apparently but a phone call from Gandhinagar forced contract to be awarded to the company.

This points to political responsibility of #MorbiTragedy
#Morbi civil hospital being painted and decorated today because Modi will visit tomorrow.

People may die but emperor’s show must go on! twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The administration remains always alert for Modi visit but never alert for common people and their safety

Some interesting stats from Modi’s Australia showbaazi.

1. 12 charter planes flew from India carrying cheerleaders

2. Howdy Modi/ Namaste Trump event had 80,000 attendees out of which 75,000 were Gujarati

3. Sidney event was attended by 20,000 out of which 16,00 were Gujarati
4. 4000 attendees were sent from India because this event wasn’t organised by Australian govt. It was Modi’s private event

5. Modi spends billions on branding in India, now spends equal amount in foreign countries for his own branding
It now becomes clear why PM Scam Fund is opaque and guarded so strictly.

It’s the source of funds for event expenses like this which can’t be funded by state exchequer (state bears official expenses only and these side events are privately organised)

Time to detach from NRI terrorists.

As a member of diaspora, I am an aware, active and vocal critic of Hindutva fanatics. I don’t support any form extremism in guise of proud nationalism.

Those who are diaspora/NRIs must decouple from these groups/communities.

RT if you agree.
Reason of this statement has roots to UK’s Bradford riots 2001 when British Hindus started resistance against being identified as ‘Asians’ detaching themselves as British Hindus who are peaceful and hardworking immigrants.

That has changed post 2014 drastically.

Not in my name
History of Bradford riots is that a violent clash erupted between British Asians and white majority led by UK’s far right groups like British National Party, National Front versus Anti Nazi League.

This incident was in the aftermath of 9/11 and involved largely UK’s Muslims and

For defamation law around the world, the plaintiff is required to prove in court that his reputation and life have been damaged significantly after the accusations.

As described in the following thread, former Indian prime minister Morarji Desai lost defamation case against
American author Seymour Hersh. Desai made a statement on camera how disciplined life he lived which bolstered Harsh’s defence that Desai’s life had not altered after accusations in his book about Desai.

Indian criminal justice system doesn’t require the plaintiff to prove
what damage they suffered after accusations?

If Modi has been winning elections successfully, where is the damage? What defamation?

If Rahul Gandhi has been unsuccessful in winning elections after the defamatory speech against Modi, where is the defamation/damage to Modi’s

Pegasus is forgotten. But in hindsight, it’s purpose must not be forgotten in BJP’s strategy.

There must be worrying elements in snooped data collected from all the people Pegasus is secretly unleashed upon.

BJP might deny the impact of #BharatJodoYatra and
Rahul Gandhi’s recent coming of age performance in connecting with people on grassroots, but the obviously aggressive and hasty strategy of stifling his voice vehemently suggests that Pegasus data decoding must’ve been worrying for the ruling authoritarian regime.
They must’ve been left aghast with the undercurrent and mood among the people they’re trying to hoodwink using their feeble, fake nationalism laced propaganda.

Logically no other reason comes to mind other than the spectre of diminishing electoral prospects for BJP.

Khalistan protesters targeted a Gujarati passer-by near London’s Indian High Commission with aggressive abuse.

This is what some of us have been worried about ever since politics of hate has become mainstream at behest of two top Gujarati leaders.
On top of that NRI Gujjus are spreading vicious hate towards all minorities vocally which will inevitably boomerang. I witness it regularly how Gujarati folks get carried away with Indian domestic agenda driven hate outside India.
This is just the beginning (people will still discard it as it’s been spouted by Khalistani supporters) but believe me it will spread just the same as post 9/11 Islamophobia.
The way entire Indian majority Hindus (RW to be precise) have become aggressive without understanding

Thread!

I’ve found it rather amusing that despite massive propaganda and claims of developed Gujarat model under Narendra Modi, why are Gujaratis at the top of immigrants in US, UK, Australia or even obscure European countries.

We’re made to believe (we meaning rural/semi urban
and otherwise gullible janata) that Gujarat is the land of dreams and prosperity. Economy, infrastructure are world class and businesses are booming.

On the contrary, the largest number of immigrants in US, UK are Gujaratis. People young and old try hook and crook to emigrate
to west spending north of Rs 20 lakh each to get any visa and get out.

Most of them when asked, confess that the SME sector is dead, education is all privatised and expensive beyond reach. Jobs are scarce in MNCs and govt for the few highly educated.

Real estate has become
