Nobody gives a fuck that you started campaigning in 2021 to open our schools. You worked to close them, you defended their closure, and you attempted (and still are attempting, clearly) to insulate from punishment other perpetrators of these crimes against humanity.

No, we did know. I knew, many others knew, and everyone else wished us dead for knowing. There was an established bank of knowledge that innocent citizens were very familiar with and were promptly muzzled for discussing. We KNEW and chose to do what we did ANYWAY.

There were not reasonable people on both sides. People did not *reason* themselves into defending lockdowns and mask mandates. In fact, that’s your entire point! The whole basis for your claim to “innocence” is FEAR—this was DONE TO PEOPLE. There was nothing RATIONAL about it.

I don’t want to gloat, I want you gone. I wasn’t “lucky” that I got this all right. I had principles & virtues I arrived at in my lifetime after careful examinations of conscience. I’m not lucky. I’m quite well-adjusted & even sensitive, & I’m done pretending I’m cold & callous.

I did not arrive at my anti-NPI positions out of bone-chilled, utilitarian, robot-rational “facts & logic.” Rather, my position is the result of a synthesis of empiricism, socialization, emotion, pragmatism, and morality. Because I’m a human being and not a fucking blank slate.

Ironically, I was the only RATIONAL person in a sea of IRRATIONAL people because I did not REJECT my emotions, my self-interest, my “biases,” my relationships, or whatever else. I actually took stock of those and used my BEST JUDGMENT—that is what RATIONALITY ACTUALLY IS.

See yet, @ProfEmilyOster? It is you who have been irrational this entire time. You set out to make yourself a “dispassionate seeker of knowledge” so you could be a “logical arbiter of truth”—but this precluded your good judgment because it sacrificed what made you a person!

You tried to turn yourself into a machine for the good of society—but we all know what happens to machines—machines are directed and run by human beings! You haven’t had an original thought this entire time! You were literally programmed! Willingly!

When all this started I was 17 years old—I’m a bit older now, a bit bigger, and a lot more imposing. I have seen now the extent and depth of the depravity of the people in charge. I will not forget.

If you expect that this will not be a formative moment, you are mistaken. There are lots of young guys like me out there, working quietly, waiting patiently for the moment to strike. And when we come for you, there’ll be no stopping us.

If you think this is edgy blade-studying, think again. There are lots of us now—rich guys, poor guys, black guys, white guys—all quietly making the same observation, passing it along the network of our most trusted: people are dead behind the eyes now, & we’re gonna fix it.
