[Thread] Now that #Blocktober is complete (game designers show how they create level designs & environments), here are some of my favorite (and sci-fi related) tweets.
This is the opportunity to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of games.
Yes, I tweet about fictional spaceships, but mainly from the angle of creation. Concept art, models, assets, sets: this is the making of space fiction.
I'm here to pay tribute to the creators, storytellers and artists.
But I don't just tweet.
Tweets are nice, threads too, but it's still one tool among others. So I also do a lot of research, a lot of interviews, to both write a book on the same subject, but also to feed my Patreon with deep dives, making of and oral histories.
Let's continue with another ship; The Arrestor Cruiser.
This is the story of a design that took more than four decades to go from paper to screen. It is also an opportunity to pay tribute to the awesome designer Colin Cantwell.

Well, I won't quit Twitter, I'm meeting too many awesome people around the world here. I'm going to keep twittering concept art and models of popular stuff and unsung stuff and paying tribute to artists and storytellers and complaining of my roof and climate change. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Twitter is a great tool that I like to use (so far).
However, if YOU plan to leave Twitter, please bookmark my Patreon. That way you'll hear from me, you can read my articles, and I'll try to do some "best of" or that sort of thing.
