Yes, going by the prototype shots she's darker than Miorine still, but it's nowhere near accurate.
Please RT this btw, they shouldn't get away with blatant colorism and whitewashing like this for their main character ffs.

Well, Prime 3 was meant to be the last game. Prime 4 was only announced in 2017.

Metroid 4 to Metroid 5 is a better comparison because at least that was planned at the time and it took longer.
And of course, if you just count Metroid games, there's not even been much of a gap because before Dread there was Samus Returns and before that there was Federation Force, like it or not.

Metroid is not a good pick if you wanna do the "look how long the gap is" thing.
Also, Metroid Prime 4 have just hit 5 years since announcement which is arguably when you can *start* argue "this is taking long" given how long games take these days.

Rewatching Gravity Falls a decade later and while it's still a lot of fun and worth your time, it's honestly kind of baffling just how rigid the gender roles are and how much casual homophobia and transphobia appears in it as gags.
And yes, we know that the show wanted to be more progressive and was shut down by Disney on that at the time - that's kind of the point.

We've come a long way in just ten years.
We have *casual* queerness in kids cartoons from the big companies these days.

A decade ago the only time you could see anything remotely queer was if it was to be laughed at, like Dipper's first kiss being CPR with a Merman or gags about men in drag.

The animated prologue for Sonic Frontiers is out.
45 seconds in and we've confirmed Knuckles has not had any internet development on how he thinks about himself and his purpose in 24 years.
Which is funny since right after that Knuckles recap the clan's backstory from SA1.

Reminder that while it's fun to joke about No Nut November there's also a genuine belief in the most misogynist of incel groups that abstaining from masturbation gives you "Super Cum" that women can't resist.

And no, we're sadly not joking about that being a belief those people hold. It fuels their entitlement to women's bodies too since if they're irresistible then obviously she's not resisting.

Well, we have a new PSU so it's only fair we get back to streaming.

RE2 at midnight tomorrow.
