The Ukrainian General Staff reported shellings all along the Russian border and active frontline. They left out about 20 settlements in the Kherson area.
Svatove-Kreminna
RuAF attacked in the area of Makiivka, Nevske and Bilogorivka. I have been told we are going to have better weather in the next few days, so I'm counting on increased activity. I have seen no evidence indicating any change in this are.
Bakhmut
It's not unlikely RuAF are allocating assets to the attack in the Pavlivka area. According to GSUA, the AFU repulsed attacks by RuAF in the area of Bakhmut and Mayorsk.
Russian forces have spent months attacking in the heavily fortified Bakhmut area for no apparent reason. The cost in Russian lives for no strategic gain at all has been humongous .
Donetsk
The large Russian offensive south of Donetsk continue. They attack all along the line visible in this image.
Pavlivka was liberated during the summer by the AFU and the Russians are now trying to take it back. It's likely a lot of the defense positions have been heavily damaged by both sides around Pavlivka, it will make it a bit harder to defend.
The AFU repulsed attacks around Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Pavlivka and Prechistivka of Donetsk region.
Kheson
I've been looking at some fresh satellite images, from the area west of the city. It seems like every tree line hold entrenched positions. It seems like the Russians are still building fortifications in this area.
The town Kyselivka it self seems quite empty, the largest russian troop concentration I found was mainly to the south of the town. I did not look further west than Kyselivka .
Ukrainian general staff reported shellings all along the frontline, 20 locations in the Kherson region were left out. These reported shellings are far from all of the locations getting shelled.
Ukraine needs longer range weapons to be able to strike behind the enemy lines. M30/31 are not enough, Ukraine can only hit targets about 70km from the active frontline with them.
This is an example of a high value target inside ukraine, but out of range.
This image from August 23rd show 11 helicopters, one is possibly damaged or being repaired.
This is only one example of many more to come.
The fastest way to end this war is to supply Ukraine with the weapons they need. They don't only need ATACMS, they need more artillery and tanks. They need more of everything.
The Ukrainian General staff reported shellings all along the active frontline. They did not specify the location for the shellings in the Kherson area.
The Ukrainian General staff reported shellings all along the front line except for Kherson. Many are also being left out on other parts of the front line. I think it's safe to say we are seeing an increase in reported locations in the Pavlivka area.
