Yesterday marked the 105th anniversary of the #BalfourDeclaration, a fateful, colonial statement by the British government that paved the way for establishing a Jewish supremacist settler-colony in Palestine.
The Balfour Declaration laid the foundation for the 1948 #Nakba, the #EthnicCleansing of between 750,000 and 1,000,000 Indigenous Palestinians at the hands of Zionist militias, and subsequently Israeli forces.
The ongoing Palestinian Nakba entails Israel’s relentless land theft, denial of human rights & legalized racial discrimination, made possible by massive military, economic & political support from the U.S., EU, U.K. & other complicit states, international orgs & corporations.
The #BDS movement for Palestinian rights is a key part of our popular resistance and the most effective and strategic form of solidarity with our nonviolent struggle for freedom, justice and equality.
Let’s hold Israel’s decades-old regime of military occupation, settler-colonialism and apartheid to account. You can help dismantle apartheid and contribute to ending Balfour’s colonial and inherently racist legacy.
TAKE ACTION:
Intensify all #BDS campaigns, pushing for #MilitaryEmbargo on Israel, canceling all complicit events in Israel and boycotting all goods and services of Israeli & international companies & banks that are complicit in Israeli war crimes & crimes against humanity.

🧵 New report just out: “Farms, arms and Israel's agro-diplomacy” from @GRAIN_org pulls back the curtain on the destructive role of apartheid Israel’s agro-military complex around the world.
Rooted in Israel's colonization of Palestine and the dispossession of its Indigenous people, apartheid Israel’s agri-buisness has become a major tool for exporting exploitation and injustice around the world.
The Palestinian-led global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement for Palestinian rights, and particularly its affiliate in France, @Campagnebds, warmly congratulate French author Annie Ernaux for winning the prestigious Nobel Prize for Literature 2022.
We join many in celebrating this distinguished recognition of Ernaux’s literary creativity and prowess also because of her principled commitment to fighting oppression globally, including her support for the nonviolent struggle for Palestinian freedom, justice and equality.
Ernaux’s courageous endorsement of impactful measures to hold accountable Israel’s apartheid regime and its complicit cultural institutions stands out.
Since last Friday, 4 Palestinian children were murdered by apartheid Israel.

Apartheid Israel has murdered at least 44 Palestinian children, so far this year. #MilitaryEmbargo
While Jewish worshippers celebrate Sukkot, apartheid Israel continues to violently repress the Indigenous Palestinians. Many areas including Nablus in the occupied West Bank and Shufat and Anata in occupied East Jerusalem have been placed under siege.
Israeli settlers, often under the watchful eye of Israel's apartheid forces, carried out violent attacks against Indigenous Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank.
4 schools in Masafer Yatta (Jinba, Khalet Athaba’, Khirbet Al-Fakhiet, Khirbet al-Majaz) received demolition orders last week and Umm Qassah School, which serves 50 students from 4 Bedouin villages, is under threat from demolition since last year.
As the school year started, Israeli occupation forces denied teachers & students access to their schools in Jinba and Al-Fakhiet & arrested a teacher confiscating his car that he needs to reach the school.
BREAKING:@Google worker organizing with #NoTechForApartheid resigns over punishment of Palestinian & allied workers who speak up for Palestinian freedom. Workers don't want their labor to enable Israeli violence against Palestinians, but Google is systematically silencing them.🧵
Along with 100s of other Google workers, Ariel Koren spent over a year organizing against @amazon & @Google’s $1B contract with Israeli government & military which helps them surveil Palestinians, expand illegal settlements, and inflict violence on Palestinians under occupation.
Google workers don’t want to be complicit in Israeli apartheid and human rights violations.
As @nytimes reports, one Palestinian worker said, “Project Nimbus makes me feel like I am making a living off my family’s oppression.”
The Israeli government + private companies like NSO Group are exporting the Palestinian experience of mass surveillance under apartheid, threatening civil society globally.
Pegasus spyware is just the latest example of #ApartheidTech piloted on Palestinians and deployed globally. Palestinian civil society is calling for a ban on the trade of mass surveillance technology.
