Florida celebrates its American Indian Heritage. Many places have names that come from local American Indian (Seminole) place names. There is a picture of an Indian woman on the Florida State Flag.

IN FACT, PART OF DISNEY WORLD IS IN OSCEOLA COUNTY, NAMED FOR AN AMERICAN INDIAN LEADER.

Seminole County in Central Florida is not going to change its name to satisfy the immature woke enthusiasts.

There is no doubt where Abram was supposed to go and settle with all his family and their wealth - Canaan (Eretz Yisrael) The debate has always been about where they came from. The answer is in the text.

The family is said to have originated in Haran (South Eastern Asia Minor), but lived in Ur of the Chaldees (Southern Iraq today), and then traveled West for a time and then, now, South.

This Parsha starts with these words. “These are the Generations of Noach, Noach a Righteous (Just) man.

That statement is instructive. What does a “Just man” do? What makes him just? What does he get out of it?

You all know the story.
2)

HaShem instructs Noah—a just man living in a world filled with hate and envy and violence and corruption (sounds all to familiar these days, does it not) to build a large wooden teivah (“an ARK”),
