I don't understand this: "So if you look at the return rate, as of (November 2), 48% of Democrats have returned their mail ballots compared with 55% of Republicans" - cnn.com/2022/11/05/pol…
But I do understand this - "Part of what's happening in Florida is a self-fulfilling prophecy that people who don't believe that the Democrats can win are not voting. And because they're not voting, the Democrats can't win."cnn.com/2022/11/05/pol…
How about we ban polling 90-days before any election? #BanPolling
Ouest-France's editor-in-chief François-Xavier Lefranc:
“The poll mania prevents politicians - and the media - from listening to the diversity of the country, its inhabitants and its regions. It blinds us and lulls us into illusions." eurotopics.net/en/270331/fran…

1/ If Trump tries to ride what looks more like a red stain then a red wave by declaring his candidacy then AG Garland's DOJ must not worsen delay by appointing Special Counsel-the stain is deep & ruinous to democracy-timely prosecutions might have stemmed it & yet may cleanse.
It's too late for AG Garland & DOJ to appoint Special Counsel.
My eyes on Virginia tonight: watching for Representatives Elaine Luria Abigail Spanberger & Jennifer Wexton races to be supposed bellwether ones for Democrats across the country.
Democratic incumbent Jennifer Wexton wins reelection in Virginia's 10th Congressional District delivering Democratic win in first of three bellwether House races in Virginia seen as an indication whether Glenn Youngkin has turned Virginia reliably red...nbcwashington.com/decision-2022/…
So important to prosecute election law deniers who break the law - like this Wisconsin official who allegedly requested requested fake ballots to manufacturer fake voter fraud issue - she sent them to GOP lawmaker who now is suing to block counting of military ballots.
The GOP lawmaker - Rep. Janel Brandtjen (R) - is chairwoman of the State Assembly’s elections committee. washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/…
Will Attig director/Union Veterans Council:
“These are service members defending our country that have the right to vote and their means to vote is by mail- We’ve got what to me appears to be an orchestrated plan by election deniers who do not truly support our democracy.”
Special Counsel for Trump would delay justice-maybe forever. DOJ was late to this dance & appointing special counsel if Trump runs again gives Trump tool to further delay & more motive to run. If AG Garland wants DOJ to stay out of politics this is not the way to do it.
There is no conflict of interest requiring DOJ to use a Special Counsel to investigate & prosecute Trump because he is not in the federal government now he is a former President and should be investigated & prosecuted same as any of us - law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/28/60…
Nor do "extraordinary circumstances" exist justifying AG Garland & DOJ appointing Special Counsel to investigate Trump besides AG Garland & DOJ worries about looking political. Best way for a prosecutor to avoid looking political is to act like a prosecutor - not a politician.
Guess Trump "Special Counsel" John Durham didn't impress the jury much - they just acquitted Igor Dachenko on all counts - or at least those counts the judge didn't already throw out - another defeat for Durham's three-year "investigation" & personally humiliating as well given
Trump "Special Counsel" John Durham personally took over the Igor Dachenko trial, at times hostilely questioning his own witness after not liking how witness did on cross & then gave a closing argument in which he mostly attacked the FBI (hint: they were NOT the defendant) -
Durham spent most of his closing argument justifying the existence of his own investigation - what a waste of taxpayer dollars.
