An open letter to the religious right,

This Sunday before the election I'd submit before you the following, you have collectively failed in what I am to understand, is your duty to Christ your Lord and Savior which is to spread his message.

You have failed not because the rest of us are godless, heathens, devil worshippers or whatever fuck all hateful diatribe you happen to label the 'others' with. No. You have failed because you don't embody the qualities of His teachings.

You are a vast collection of the most wretched misanthropic hominids to falsely bear his name.

You neither walk-the-walk or talk-the-talk in your daily activities. In all honesty, there is zero benefit to be derived being a member of your club, spiritual or otherwise

Let's recap just some of the ways you've slandered or otherwise blasphemied the teachings you purportedly hold sacrosanct. I'll go from a list you should all be familiar with.

10. Shall not covet

Probably the heart of all white grievance. Collective 'they' have it better than me. Whether it's immigration, student loan forgiveness or whatever fuck all isn't putting you and America first. That desire is longing for something that belongs to someone else

By asking, you are showing dissatisfaction with what God has given instead of thanking him for his blessings and goodness, we compare ourselves to others and criticize what God has given us.

9. You shall not speak false testimony against your neighbor

I can't find another group that is so willing and apt to promote falsehoods and slander. Whether it's the big lie, frazzle-what-the-fuck, QAnon whatever. You all seem to live in a perpetual state falsehood which you

willfully participate in to harm others to benefit yourselves and your imagined benefactors.

8. You will not steal

This includes not just money and possessions, and there are many in the party that have done just that, see the Stop the Steal, Build The Wall and other such antics which are running amuck in the party. It includes promising to give something with

no intention of seeing through, see Medical Care and Infrastructure but also underpaying for a product or service, see minimum wage and unpaid rallies. By your collective support you give your tacit consent to these behaviors.

7. You shall not commit adultery

Where do I start and where does it end. Suffice to say there is scandal upon scandal of the most heinous types of abuses if you want specifics, start here. bit.ly/3DJ6BHU

6. You will not kill

Endless violence and violent rhetoric coming from you chosen ones, whether it ends in a school or synagogue or mosque shooting or a grocery store or at our nations Capitol. You froth and gnash teeth until an undiscerning few put that rhetoric into action

where you excuse, lie and otherwise obfuscate the horrors you helped fashion. You deny lifesaving medicines and treatments to women, the elderly and the poor with your choice of leadership.

5. Honor your father and mother

It should be enough if your parents raised you properly that you would be a proud example and the relationships they fostered with you you can extend to others in your day to day. If they are proud of your extremist and singular worldview you do

them a disservice by not continuing to grow. If they fought in WWII how pleased would they be to see you openly embrace facist leadership and polcies.

4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy

This should be a day of introspection where you reflect on your behaviors of the week and do better. Instead, you quote biblical verse sometimes in the context of other hatred - and like performative monkeys repeat the same vile

behaviors throughout the week, ad nauseum.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the everlasting God in vain

This is a big one - and for the most part, you all are guilty of it. When you conspire and commit these atrocious in the Lord’s name you blaspheme to the highest degree. You do not offer praise or sanctify his name

by trampling the downtrodden, forsaking the sick and needy, or break laws in His name.

2. You will not become idols

When you venerate a deeply flawed and criminal man depicting him as the Son of God - no two ways about this, you fucked up. What if the same thing was done with Ceasar, Hilter or Stalin? How is that *any* different?

1. You can not have others gods in front of me

This one kinda speaks for itself, but since you've all shit the bed on this point as well - let me do my best to explain it to you.

"No other thing or person should occupy the throne of our hearts. Our priority should always be partnering with God, listening to His voice, and doing His will."

Have you done just that? Do you truly feel in light of everything shared in this thread that you've done service to the Almighty and not say, substituted Him for a bunch of false prophets and hateful grifters manipulating you to their own ends.

If so, then this thread is not meant for you - it's meant for the other guy.

Because all I see the the unrepentant antecedent of the works in that book.
